You should only have to do it once per account so long as you consistently use the same PC.
Really, 2FA is for your own good. I should have started using it ages ago.

Having it as an option is fine. Being able to choose to NOT use it is fine. Several of us have more accounts than we'd like to admit, and many different emails associated with them. Having it forced down your throat is complete BS, especially when it's either not sending emails consistently OR you don't remember what email that account is associated with. Telling people they can't smoke is for they're own good too, but it's their choice whether they want to or not, as long as their not hurting other people.

I have a Caldari character from 2012 that I was looking foward to play again. It's a drone boat character, which means it's really good at drones and Vexor.. Now you expect me to stick around and fly around in a.. Caracal?

Not sure if intentional or has been mentioned already, but in the new ship fitting window you only get detailed info about your drones if you are in simulation mode. So if I want to know the modified optimal range, for example, I have to switch to simulation mode, otherwise just the drone bay window pops up. |

This update obviously serves to bring back old players and in new ones. It's flawed when it comes to existing characters as I pointed out. If you aren't illterate as you seem, you should be able to tell I created my character a couple years before this announcement. Just posting my feedback to the update, which is exactly the purpose of this thread. I won't be returning. Thank you. |

You should just have made every account deactivated and given people an option to turn it on instead of forcing it upon us.

I'm aware. I've got most of them onto 1 or 2 accounts, but evidently there was a straggler I forgot to migrate.... so now I'm sending CCP another support request so I can get that account back. Wouldn't be an issue if a suddenly CCP didn't break things.... again.

1. Please don't annoy paying customers. We don't need to see the omega clone status pane on every login.
2. The clone status pane close button is not obvious. White on yellow has no contrast. Should be black on yellow, and never hidden.
3. All my accounts were lost from the launcher. I had to add all of them back in, AND launch a client for each one, or the account would be forgotten. Also, the last account added didn't require authenticator, though I verified it was enabled. |

Your account is free. It doesn't matter that if a person played from 2003 on and their account lapsed yesterday, or if they played for one day back in 2008 and never came back. If the account is free, it's free. You may have been a paying customer before, but as soon as your account lapses, you aren't. You're complaining that a non-paying customer doesn't receive the same benefits as a paying customer.
Make do with what you have, roll a new character, or become a paying customer.

New Character Sheet is awful. New Aura's voice is awful.
I tried to "post constructive" and failed. I can find nothing positive in these changes.

Maybe if they are serious about encouraging returning players (or not, this is after all CCP) they could allow returning players such as Hisana to choose which faction they wish to fly when they first log back in and THEN lock the character to that.
My main is Amarr by birth but has worse Amarr skills than a day old Caldari rookie. In the same situation (as Hisana) I would choose either Minmatar or Gallente.

It's simply not logical. There are tons of players that trained for other ships than their own starting race. Great, you have a hangar filled with missile boats and your toon is Armarr, whole hangar with ships you can't fly... not even a tiny T1 frigate. It does not make much sense to me and it negates the purpose of getting old players back in the game. |

The fitting screen is missing a vital information it used to have - show if a module fits or not.
The character screen takes way too many resources when you show your character on it

I was telling it right from the start: Alpha clones only good for chatting with old friends or for really new players. Returning player will see him losing access to all his stuff and will not be able to feel new game and decide whether he wants to return or not.
