CCP do not give preferential treatment, even if it's for some of the oldest corporations in EVE, who even worked with them in beta. Even if said corps are fighting against people that have deliberately set out to ruin CCP's reputation not just in EVE, but also in places like Slashdot, just because of blind hatred at something in the context of the game. 2. CCP likes this kind of stuff. Namely varying levels of truth that are all wrapped around each other. This is the EVE they wanted to create. Why would they ruin it by breaking the fourth wall? 3. It's just more fun this way.

The truth is out there GMV. Nope. I think that it will be interesting to see if BoB gets a new titan within the next few weeks. You gotta figure that they should be building at least one at any given time. So if there is a break in their titan building that is sufficiently long it would suggest that they did indeed lose a titan. Molle needed to announce completion of a titan to convince me but then again maybe that titan will show up shortly.

If a players wants to make other players believe something about ingame-events that's maybe not true, then he is fine to do so and CCP won't interfer. I mean almost everyone thinks that SirMolle never leaves war-mode on the forum during a running conflict. It seems to be his way to play the game and it's quite effective. Makes it probably really hard to decide, if he speak the truth or not, if you don't really know him or have seen it yourself. There is also no way to get to him with questioning his honor, since this has nothing to do with lying as a RL person or so. It's all about ingame events and misinformation is part of it. I tend to believe him this story, to put it in numbers by maybe 75%, but I admit I'm not sure about it either. ___________ Muuuhhh !!!

Regardless, it brought about an epic fight that was unfortuantley ruined by lag, apart from the cap pilots who only got 10 minutes module lag as opposed to the average 20 for the rest of us :S.

Love it how people can choose to acknowledge A but not B when both are present. Take a look at the screenshot you provided. Then have a look at the range filter. It starts with current and ends with solarsystem. Now it has been confirmed by several keymembers (here for example) of the coalition that there was indeed just 1 production going. It has also been confirmed by a GS covops that an Aeon was launched yesterday. Now what does this tell you about the POS that got destroyed? Think before you post, else you'll be insulting Darwin himself.
