Team work is essential... It gives the other team something ELSE to shoot at!

Their fault.
A lot of people do this to reduce client lag, they also play with no sound,

Quote: People don't turn off their effects because they don't like the "Oooh ahh" animations. They turn them off to make the game playable when combat reaches more than shuttle vs. 10 man gank. Just like sound effects.

I would say find out you are scrambled when you finaly need get out is litle late.

Why are some people AGAINST this? lol. It's not taking anything away from the game whatsoever, it's just making it a little easier to tell how your odds are of getting away.

If the lag is that high, with that many people, and if you've been primaried, it wouldn't matter anyway ;)

It can be difficult for frigates to manage their modules along with a 20km disruptor if it has to be run constantly. Usually all you have to do to save a ton of cap is scramble them once initially and then only use the 'look' command to see if they're trying to warp again or not and re-scramble.
Seems like its a decent idea though.

You're not a dev, but if that was a dev response, it'd be the lamest thing ever.
Just PLEASE give us an indication of when we're scrambled.

Huitzilopochtli Tlaloc is absolutely right
Now - let me remind you all of a VERY old IDEA and semi petition to do this. Please go to http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=214284 and help the thread revive.
It is 9 pages long - it started in 2005 ! and thus far has lead a very unloved existence.

In large fights, with support battling it out in close range fighting, you can easily have 15+ hostile interceptors within 20km of your ship with several of them attacking/targeting you. If there was a scrambling indicator, you could at least have a chance in killing the person scrambling you.
Leaving effects on to see who is scrambling you is just not an option in fights over 10v10 and the the messages that pop up often flash by too quickly to read.
Even an ewar-type indicator, like ECM does, would be extremely useful for scrambling and webing effects.

shouldent be that hard to do, and would probably give less petitions where players moan about lag death when they in fact were scrampled!

Im 99% sure that this was in the game for a very short while, around when they 1st re-did the UI a couple of years ago. The Jammed/Scrammed/Damped status bar was taken out for a while then re-introduced, minus the Scrammed part.
Please someone confirm this otherwise ill think im going mad.
