carrier can fit 100 replacement shuttles but ony 28 vigils... I think I'd fly my shuttle to the nearest system and buy a frig though... but of course I've never tried this tactic so maybe there's something super tactical about it that I'm missing. I supose if someone had fighters turned off on their overview (I never will) and saw all the skeet.. er, um... shuttles they might attack them and get the fighters to auto-retaliate... either way a shuttle can target and therefore is fair game for operating fighters. kill the pod and you can still have the last laugh.

I don't think it deserves a nerf tbh. You should try it out, you'll probably get a lot of good laughs out of it once it's working in your favor.
I understand that it's really irritating when it happens to you but then again so is anything bad, why bother nerfing it if you can achieve it? 
As long as you've got a carrier pilot, anyway.

oh shuttles have an awnsome speed tank against titans that dont have a web........ but otherwise they dont tank to well

What are you all talking about....? My shuttle tanks fine with my setup.
Highs: - - - - - - - -
Mids: - - - - - - - -
Lows: - - - - - - - -
Cargohold: Exotic dancers
Tactic: Open a visual communications channel and let the dancers do thier thing. Kill enemy pilot while he's distracted. This does not work in specific situations however:
When the enemy pilot is not of the male human subspecies (In which case you're screwed. And not in a good way.)
Exception to above rule is when enemy is not of male human subspecies but is sexually bi. In which case you have a mild chance of surviving.

Dunno, I run L4's in a shuttle. Usual fitting of an ion blaster in the hold and it does really well against multi-million ISK BS's. I can see it being a real problem to kill the shuttle assigned the fighters.
Note: I could infact be telling porky pies. Actually probably am.
P.S. Can I see THAT kill mail? Death by shuttle ROFL.
