There is not a problem with "game mechanics" here the problem is "game mechanics when fighting people that are challenge" and how much it sucks to have to actually work hard for your victories. The solution? Break off and go camp EC- ! Um - now go back one year on forums and read posts. Goons in XZH, TCF in tribute. All was the same: BORING POS warfare. Yes we did have a blast with goons but it wasnt at POS. All good battles took place at the gate, POS were boring lagfest. I can say same for TCF (tho i fought only 1/3 of total time - had busy RL + couldnt be arsed to fight ANOTHER pos war) - most good fun was away from towers (tho they engaged much less than goons). And i perfectly understand what D2 leaving corps are talking about. Even if you do not want to play pos spammage game forces you to do so. And soon we will hit known problem: how can smaller entity claim space when they cant outblob enemy with capital ships?

Yes theres titans now but MC/YW dont have any atm while they have two - so if anything that is playing in their favour. Actually that's completly false. They put up just enough POS to get our attention. I think it was 3 of them. That's hardly POS spamming. Then we had a series of great fleet fights. They didn't seem that concerned with our POS's. They seemed much more interested in fighting. They did not kick F-E alliance out of anywhere either. We ended up killing all the POS's. Also it was G not D2. You missed my point. I am sure MC/YW/BOB arent after just the poses either and will engage in a fight just as much. My point is there was no sudden change in the game mechanics of POSes to blame the split entirely on that. @ Rami: I know what you mean, still due to the timing of this decision its hard to believe the war you were facing had nothing to do with it m8 - Gob Well I don't think I did miss your point. You seemed to imply that at one time D2 liked the use of POS spamming at one point because it worked in their favor and only don't like it now because it's not working for them. I was just disagreeing with that. D2 have never really been about that at all. They've always prefered to fight with their ships in my experience. You say that 1 year ago it was ok because there were few poses and alot of fights with f-e, tcf, goons.
