The war with the south is a boring pos spamming titan blobbing war which means very little fun. So these corps probably were faced with two decisions, stay with d2 have their members go inactive or leave due to being bored and or ****ed off, or leave and say form a new alliance like they have done. To alot of people this will look like a backstab but like us theyre just looking for fun, to keep all the northern residents blue would make them leaving d2 a little pointless. Theyve given warning, they told d2 they were leaving... I dont really see the problem.

That is not what eve should be about, conquering space should be full of dramatic battles and enjoyment for the members. Determination SHOULD be required, but not to a point where your corporation and alliance wants to quit. There is a large difference between making effort and suffering.

Yes we did have a blast with goons but it wasnt at POS. All good battles took place at the gate, POS were boring lagfest. I can say same for TCF (tho i fought only 1/3 of total time - had busy RL + couldnt be arsed to fight ANOTHER pos war) - most good fun was away from towers (tho they engaged much less than goons).
