It's not. It never will be. Just to prove how insane this whole situation is I hope they have a pilot bump the freighters with a shuttle.
i was under the impression it was made an exploit after a fair number of people got into suiciding shuttles that were carrying t2 bpo's and using their alts/mains to pick it up as koot. afaik it was made an exploit after that...?

The only exploit involved in high sec suicide kills involves the recycling of alt characters to get around the sec status drops.
Anything else is fair game unless CCP says otherwise.

All - this operation had to be cancelled due to real life issues. Unfortunately, storms here in Texas have been keeping me busy with a chain saw at my house and others around the neighborhood. (I lost 6 trees myself when we got hit with 80-100mph winds...others lost parts of their roofs).
So frieghter pilots you are safe this weekend (at least from us).
But you have been warned, freighter ganking can be profitable, very profitable especially when you can buy a Dominix right in Jita for 50 million. Net loss, after insurance, was only going to be 12 million per Domi for a total cost per freighter kill of 300 million.
Again the issue for us wasn't about griefing or war...it was about making isk....the easy way.
But today it is about stacking all that firewood and hauling away the rest.
Fly safe....at least for now...

joke aside, if attacker can gather enought ships to kill u with concord around u should be able to gather enought protection to survive. If u have no friends to protect you, hire mercs or fly stuff u can afford to loose. Or just move your stuff in afk freighters and give to pvpers some wealth back.

How do u kill a freighter in secure sec ?, Yes, u use drones with a ship that can withstand a few seconds from concord, and while concord eats through your 15 man gank squad, all drones are on the freighter, and can kill it within the timeframe concord killes the gank squad.
There are really 2 problems:
1. drones, they continue to fight, even when concord shoots at attacking ship(s)
2. It only takes 15 man squad to kill a freighter.
3. Profit is too hight compared to how easy it is, so its unbalanced in the game.
1:
I suggest that concord does 2 things: let concord frigates kill the drones, and the bc's and bs's kill the attacking ship.
This way, the drones are effectively gone, and concord bs's can kill the attacking ship.
2:
I suggest that freigters get some better armor/shield dependent on the freighter faction to eliminate the 15 man gank squad which more or less every corp in eve can establish. By doubling the resistance, you basically tripple the hitpoints, and you need a 60-80 man gank squad which will make the profit less.
3:
In 0.0, it takes 1h to kill NPC's to make 20 mill profit with 1 BS/BC. By looting, you cant make it in 1h, but profit could be 40-50mill dependent of what u get as loot.
I've seen a pattern the last year, that CCP tries to make whatever you do in EVE balanced, meaning that it takes 1h to make 20-50 mill profit in the best areas like 0.0 and mining bistot.
Killing a freighter with a 15 man squad = 20 mill lost in insurance per bs = 300 mill. (2 bill values from freighter - 300 mill) / 15 = 113 mill profit. This is too unbalanced compared to other tasks. So, this means that ppl whine since they can make too much isk compared to what they loose doing it.
By increasing the shield/armor resistance, killing freighters in 0.0 means it takes more time, which does this:
1. it makes sure defending the freighter easyer, as defending force can go back to station and get a new ship, come back into the fight, since killing the freighter takes a little time, unless you're more than 15 ppl in BS's. That way a freighter becomes something you play over, not only kill to get loot.
Another solution to freighters, is to make jumpdrive rigs available, which ONLY freighters can fit, OR tier 3 BS's with overpowered Capacitor and power can fit. The jumpdrive is ofc not 5ly capable as with dreads, but more like 1.5ly, so freighters can jump between systems, 2-3 of them at the time, and also needs to bring alot of fuel to jump far away.

Privateers were nerfed. And now the carebear chorus begin their crescendo of howling about somthing else. My advice for each of you:
1) Post the same thing in multiple threads every day
2) Use an alt to congratulate yourself and everyon elses mains and alts on a top post
3) Posit a spurious argument ,with exaclty ZERO proof, that freighter ganking is threateneing the noob revenue stream as they quit.
4) Post as a noob saying "im a wickle bwoy and i twained fwor six mwonths to gwet in my fweighter and it was killed by the nasty people - im qwuittin"
5) All roundly condemn freighter gankers.
6) Write a shockingly biased article in eve rag "EvE Tribune"
7) Hint and drop the word exploit into all your posts - even though you petitioned and were expressly told by ccp it wasnt. Keep sayin exploit enough times and casual readers will get it into their head it is.
8) Generaly froth at the mouth/gnash your teeth/wave your arms in the air
9) Repeat 1-8 for 6 months and CCP cave in

If you're not afk hauling, not really. A Blockade runner a) can't be hit by sentry drones b) gets into warp before Heavies hit c) gets into warp before any serious missiles hit, leaving pretty much only gunfire or smartbombs at specific ranges as a very unreliable option.
Coupled with their much better agility and hence lower traveltime and tiny window of opportunity, if you want to bother with any precautions and a blockaderunner it's practically impossible to die.
If you want to dispute that, I'll happily jump into one and give you my location and destination ;)

That's the first problem, the second is cargo scanning should be a criminal act. This would making suicide ganking a real risk because the suicide pilots won't know in front wether they are killing an empty freighter or one fully loaded with expensive items.

Well, there is a solution to this, anyone who kills another ship in 0.7 or higher automatically tanks their security to -10, and they get kicked out into low-sec space with the rest of the garbage. This game is an interesting social experiment, its amazing how far out of their way people will go to screw each other over for trival gains.
God forbid we all play the way we like, hell, we might all have fun?

Yeah, those jita 4-4 undock kills really were the pinnacle of small gang pvp in Eve. Get a grip. The only things required to do small gang pvp is to..... start a small gang and find a small target.
As for freighter kills bring em on. The carebear whine machine is in motion and it gives me endless entertainment.

decided(a few days ago) to gather all my loot and stuff in to one location, so I went round with my freighter(all over EVE Universe) and picked them all up thinking it is safe , boy I was lucky not to meet up with a suicide gang
my freighter(on my alt,no I won't divulge his name) was carrying,after doing a market pricing search) over 10 bill in goods
