What is the ultimate gank vessel excluding capital ships? Which non-faction setup on which non-faction ship will give the maximum DPS possible in the game? I'm talking sheer gankitude here, I want as many blue explosions per minute possible. I'm guessing the answer will be Gallente with blasters, but maybe someone will surprise me.
P.S. Tanks are for weenie men. Damage controls are OK, but don't insult me with EANMs and dual reppers and all that crap. The same goes for rigs.

That's a wise point, although with tracking comps/enhancers the Hype can probably outdamage the Mega, when I actually use a Hype I'll probably fit it for tank.

How about a Tempest 800mm T2 w/ hail and T2 siege w/ T2 rage?
I haven't tried this yet due to T2 ammo costs.

Myrmadon is a pretty nice gank ship. . .in fact, its hard to go wrong with Gallente ships.

I think you'll pull the most DPS using a well-skilled blasterdomi. Should be able to top 1300 DPS with ogres and good implants without much trouble...

DPS whise there is nothing cooler then a full neutron, orgeII blasterdomi.
Pulse geddon is something you dont see that often, but can put a decent punch, when you handel it correct.
Torp Raven, well you can select your damage type... but t2 got the nerf bait.

But rage torps are sssllloooowwwww, and you need a target painter, which will let you have one damp less.
When you land of top of someone is quiet ok with the rage, but when you have some klicks to do its a pain in the ass. And against smaller vessels rage become useless.

Mega with 7 NBII 3xMSII 2x10% Rof Rigs & 5 Orge II's max skill,5% dmg/rof hardwire for all turrets & 5% large hybrid hardwire = around 1,600 raw dps
Hyp 8 NBII 3xMSII 2x10% Rof Rigs & 4 Orge II's max skill,5% dmg/rof hardwire for all turrets & 5% large hybrid hardwire = around 1,700 raw dps
2 10% rof rigs means you will need a RCU to fit a tank, but dam that's some nasty firepower

You know those rof rigs stack with the damage mods though, right? You would get very little benefit for another 10.25% pg required by guns, at maximum rigging skill.
Too bad the Rof and Damage for all turret implants use the same slot

For maximum alpha strike its going to be either Maelstrom with 8x 1400 IIs or Amarr with a full rack of Tachyons.
Caldari Raven comes nowhere near, even with faction kit it struggles to keep up. ___________________

The max possible dps by a non capital ships is the hyperion.
Of course situation changes this, which is why people in eve often have to come up with their own fittings.

The highest theoretical DPS is the Hyperion. With Cormack Neutrons, faction ammo and T2 RoF rig it gets very close to 2000 dps. Even with just T2 it outdamages the Domi and Mega. Minmatar ships dont get even close.

If this was 2 years ago, yeah. But with stacking penalty beyond 4 you aren't getting crap from those heatsinks and even the 4th gives very little bonus.

i certainly wouldn't describe the pilgrim as a gank ship, nor is that vindi setup tbh.
if u want gank try a domi with 6 neutron II's, 3 mag stabs and 5 ogre II's with max skills. that's dps

I love this setup for being annoying in my Maelstrom. I usually have support to tackle and whatnot.

x4 Ogre II's... or x3 Ogre II's and x2 Hammer Head II's if that does more DPS.
As long as the other ship isn't a NOS ship, it pretty much destroys their cap instantly... it's great.
