Ganja is just smart enough to abuse a stupid design flaw. Why the hell would you ever be allowed to make a 0 run bpc? Why would THAT ever be used?

ganja sounds pathetic and i know he would give me the creeps irl and i would hold on to my wallet a little tighter.
i can appreciate legitamate pirating in game. but scam artists are the only morons...not their victims.

Haha. I've had so many people try (unsuccessfully) to scam me ... you just gotta cover your bases. Lol.
The first time was when some d00d was selling me a moa. He traded me a griffin, as if I wouldn't notice.
The second time was a 0 run BPC ... lol again. And twice I've had people try to pay me like 5,000,000 for a ship instead of 50,000,000. That is, until they included the commas in the number 
With those tiny numbers... if you aren't careful, 5000000 might as well be 50000000.
Anyway ya the BP should disappear lol.

you see person?, the thing about scams is that they are tricks that rely on a lack of knowledge about a particular part of the game, not a lack of brain cells. i'm sure not even the almighty brainic yourself knows every aspect of this game. unless of course you wrote the code. so the fact that someone didn't know that the 'escrow' window does not open fully, doesn't make him stupid or hint to the amt of brain cells he may have.
edit: oh and btw, i have not been scammed to date. because i don't trust the little pukes like you, like cao cao, im a little leary on any trade

there is nothing u can do about a boy like Ganja... i remember once when he hanged around #eve-online(wich he allways do, its his place to say goodmorning), he asked me about making some danish "storys" on Ganja's site www.eve-db.com... at first i was all game... but day after i saw him making people send him game files, so he could change textures of the game... he made a flying ***** punisher etc... and posted the link in #eve-online, i remember ther was a wild discussing wether or not it was a bannable offence to "change" the files in the game(i.e. hacking the game)... and he just said "i dont own the game, you cant ban me at all"... but the link got him banned for a period on #eve-online(IRC)... i remember how gloating he was, and how far from mature he acted on it...
now, its not bad changin textures... but if u could somehow(i have no real knowledge here, and ganja is probably going to pull my post apart ) could change the texture for cloaking......
though, last time i ran logserver for a bugreport, i noticed that during login, there is alot of CRC checking, of even sounds... so i dont know its even still possible to change the files...
Ganja seems to me, most like the little young kids from my neighbourhood, that are so ******* dumb, and absolutly clueless, that i just have to hit them constantly... they just have no sense... sense of whatever... they just lack the skill "sense"... u know, u're sitting 3 people having a conversation, and the kid breaks in, totally out of porpotion, and says something completely out of topic... no sense...
i dont really know what to say... other than ive never spoken with ganja after that... oh, not true... i said thanks for him posting link to chaos IRC chat... but thats it...

you dont make a 0 run bp... just use a 1 run bp and it becomes a 0 run and worthless...
They should make the bp self destruct when this happens to stop idiots abusing them.

I've bought bpcs from Ganja! They all work very well! I have no complaints! I use them as... TOILET PAPER! 
And if you fall for a scam, its your fault for not being more careful. Dont blame anyone for being smart. I've been scammed on one occasion too, kudos to the guy for coming up with such a creative scam (It was very good ) and I wont fall for it again! No need to act like an idiot when you make a stupid mistake

Well I don't consider myself a moron but I certainly couldn't find a way to check the runs when inspecting a escrow BP. In fact it simply doesn't show anything except "type bp".
Maybe the changed it.

I dont see what would be wrong with retexturing ships in EVE really...
You see, the textures only change on your computer, so it doesnt matter cause noone else sees your textures..
So if you make all your ships cloaked youl be the only one not seeying any ships ;)
If ganja got banned for changing textures in EVE then they better ban me really fast since ive changed models and stuff in EVE =P

Disabling the "cloak" effect client side is impossible.
Mainly, because once they are fully cloaked the server no longer sends the data of that player to the clients.
Least thats what I would hope that they do.

if people are too stupid to check or do any sort of background info or the item they are buying/trading or learn about the game mechanics that will directly affect them then they deserve all they get when it goes wrong. FFS all people do nowadays is tirelessly try to shift blame or hold others accountable for THEIR stupidity.
If I'm buying a ship I make DAMN SURE I'm getting the correct ship or if I'm selling something I'm getting the RIGHT MONEY. If I fail to do these checks then it's MY fault. Having a go at the scammer is just bitter nonsense.
Having sold shuttles for 10mil each I can't tell you how much I laugh my arse off at the moron who couldn't be bothered to check his purchase first

We should all strip the hide off ganja and throw him in a salt solution for scamming virtual money off obviously not so attentive to detail builders and manufacturing corps who make millions of isk a day IN A DAMN GAME!
