The longgest battle in eve just happened. What can i say 40 ships involved in a hour long battle in EC-P8R. WE would like to thank: Bio-mass, Huff and EPA for a great battle the thanks goes out from RONA-KIA, Celestial apocalypse and Reikoku
Respect to all the polits who fought and died

Was simply, the greatest moment of my gaming life ever.
Was simply awesome
about 40 pilots warpoing in and out from the gate, for nearly an hour, nearly always 20-30 pilots fighting at any one time.
Total losses are unknown.
KIA-R lost 2 BBs, and no more.
Can confirm Nizzins Scorp went bang, anf Havocides ship. Only confirmations I can make.
Was simply awesome.
Respect to every single person that took part.

That was fun :)
Much respect to all involved, learnt some new stuff 'on the fly' and realised that my setup needs a 'tweak' ;)
Fantastic effort all.

Great battle, best one I've ever been in. Loads of screens to upload, and i didn't notice it was an hour till i just looked at the clock :P
lol even reinforcments arrived on both sides.
Losses wise I think the celest lost a raven and scorp, plus everyone lost some cruisers. Kill wise i think we got 2 battleships and pos some cruisers, but I'm not too sure on figures, too much goingn on.

Think a ctd just saved my life. I had a ctd when my bb blowed up and had to give some friends a ride, logged on and there was my pod. This would have been even greater without the insane lag. __________ Capacitor research |

Yeah i died took 6 ships 5 mins to get my shields down so im happy
Outnumbered 2-1 and we still come out on top (more kills than loses + you retreated to Torrinos) so its all good.
Though it was a loooong hour listening over TS, good job to our men and good job to those in the NVA force who stayed and died

I had great fun darting about in my blackbird jamming peeps. I managed to stay alive for ages then, inevitabley, I popped due to the missiles of KIAHicks and Pat Sharp (celstial apoc)
I think I blew up (or helped blow up) a Blackbird and a Vexor and flung out missiles at whatever battleship I was jamming.
Hats of to ya guys that was amazing fun

Not going to reply to Havo, too much respect for all the others who attended. You know what the results were, so do everyone who took part.
Fantastic effort - this is the reason I play Eve.

Edited by: Halseth Durn on 04/01/2004 03:48:57 BIG, FAT, RESPECT to both sides. everyone fought galantly, no nasty talk in local and everyone had a good time.
I am betting that this was the longest batlle in eve history by far.
P.S. Thanks from Oberon too.

That battle rocked! NVA had a numbers advantage but had the nasty job of attacking into a camped gate. No 100% definite losses we lost 2 bs and 1-3 cruisers and we counted 2-3 bs 3-5 cruiser losses on the nva side.
The Celest guys in my opinion and the bravest cnuts of the day award, they arrived first and took a heavy pounding! Overall that was either a draw or a nva win .
Big thanks to all who took part, this is what eve is all about!!!!!

Edited by: Halseth Durn on 04/01/2004 04:33:18 Heres another Battle screenie from tonights fun. The carnage was just about over. You can see the FE fleet down in the bottom left (about 100K from the gate) and the NVA fleet up near the gate.
And one poor, lonely Gurista twiddling his thumbs.
