How do I start this? Monday May 7 2007 the Eve community had lost a vetran player and dear friend. Please forgive me if I don't type this right but Beachie88 ( her in game name ) was at home on Monday May 7 2007 and about 8 am a man broke into her home with her 19 yr old daughter there and startted opening fire. Beachie was shot three time 1 time to the head and the daughter was shot in the leg.
The only reason I am posting this is cause Beachie88 was a dear friend and great mother to her children. Also I am writting this in memory of her and maybe C.C.P. could do some type of memorial for her in game. I know they did one for a person that died on a motorcycle a few years ago. Beachie will be missed by everyone that loved her. Her husband ( whom I will not mention at this time) also plays Eve and they both are in the same corp which is the corp I belong to. I would like to say more but I am with out words right now and all I can do is think about the loss we have encountered.
So I hope someone at C.C.P. reads this and gets in contact with me. if you would like the news link on the event I can post it but until I hear from her husband I wish to respect her and her husband by not saying to much.

The best you can do is name a station after her, like they did with Smosk. It usually lasts years before someone even considers renaming it, if ever.

On the event, i believe you are refering to the man behind the character "Rampage" the memorial was entirely player driven by the alliance he was a member of. They also named a Station after him and later the alliance merged into one corporation called Rampage Eternal in respect to him.

It always saddens us deeply to hear of the passing of a community member. Well, all i can say is I am shocked, stunned and greatly saddened. I had only known Beachie and her husband a short time, and had heard them on teamspeak together. They were the perfect couple. I will be praying for Beachies husband and daughter. I hope that they will heal and will find encouragement from their friends here, and where they live, and from God. My heart aches for them. I'm very sad, I hope they'll take the murderer! We'll pray for her of course and for the other person.
Eve'll keep growing, so (it is static) this king of bad things will happen more often (death is part of life for human beings)... I propose a monument for all the victims playing Eve when they felt. with the char names clearly readable on it.

I can't deal with things like this well. I don't know what I would feel if this were a family member of mine. I am very sorry for your loss, and I hope her family can move of some day, though, this small condolence doesn't seem to be anything near appropriate for the loss to her family.

I thought of an idea.... What if all that has past away as Eve-players got a 0.0 system named after them? There are plenty of silly forgetable names in lieu with xyz-348 etc etc... Easier to remember Ioctl, Smoske and Beachie88, and I think it would be tasteful as well.

I want to say that I am in complete aww right now at the ammount of posts that have been replied to this thread.
I want to say Thank-you to the entire C.C.P. staff and memebers of the Eve community for responding.. I Have been incontact with Beachies Daughter ( the one who was shot ) and she say thank you to all of you for your posts..
I was lost for words when I starttd this thread and seeing all these post from the community and the the C.C.P. staff has really made me speechless. It just saddens me that 99% of you have never met or flown with beachie and yet here you all are. Its very emotional for me to even put this into words.
I will try to keep you all informed. And Thank you again.

I hope CCP can do something for you guys better than they did for us in 2004.
We had the N7-BIY station named NGRU Ilsa Outpost. This was in memory of a fallen commrade of theirs who died in the 9/11 attacks. ATUK kept taking the station and naming it "666 Lucifer Shags Ya Mum" (seriously...I still have the petition in my box)

Even though this is a tragic event, it is no more different then all the other player losses suffered by the eve community. If CCP were to create a memorial for each lost player, there would be tons of marks all over; and to be honest, I really do not see ANY reason for that to happen.
This is a game ladies and gentlemen, a game. I, and many others will not stand by having a memorial for a dead person in real life, simply because INGAME and IN REAL LIFE should be SEPERATE.
I am also very surprised as to WHY this post is in General Discussions. It is time for CCP and the Moderators to follow their own rules and policies, please move this thread to Out of Pod Experience!

What? All losses are tragic, some actions leading to losses are more tragic then others, but in the end, they are all tragic. And you are correct, every lose is the collapse of someone elses world, but that still does not mean that a INGAME memorial should be made for this person nor does it mean that the thread starter can violate the rules and post out of game issues in the ingame part of the forums.
The rules are equal to everybody, under no circumstances should it be any special for others.

Eve is a game. Somewhere out in the real world, a father is sitting next to his wounded daughter in a hospital, mourning the loss of his wife. Eventually, he'll be returning home to read your ridiculous grievances with correct forum procedures smack in the middle of what is quite possibly the worst thing that ever happened to him.
Real life takes precedence over Eve life, I'd say - and while you are quite right about the sacred posting procedures on these boards, I don't really see any need for moderation of a thread full of condelensces written by someone who is obviously distraught at the loss.
If you wanna chase forum insurgents, start a campaign to get rid of the endless line of ******s applying 'first' and 'ibtl' to every damn thread without moderators intefering. Or go kick a puppy, or log off...
Out of respect for the OP, this is the last I have to say on this matter. Why don't you offer the same respect, file a petition and leave this thread alone for the moderators to do as they wish?

If you want a memorial though, tell people to gather somewhere, shoot at asteroids for light shows, or simply to take a 5 minute silence and non aggression moment for those lost. This is the world we make it.

I never knew Beachie88, yet with this news I find myself in an emotional state and with a deep sense of loss.
In all the rivalry and competition that exists today, it is easy to forget there are real people behind the avatars. News like this arrives and I find myself in shock, at a loss of words and stricken with grief. I offer my sincere condolences to her family for her loss.

Ever since learning of the senseless loss of our friend Jean aka Beachie my thoughts and prayers have been with her and her family. I have prayed for the speedy recovery of her daughter and for swift justice to be brought to the perpetrators of this cruel and vicious crime.
BeachieĘs positive attitude and personality has effected us all in immeasurable ways and IĘm certain on everyone in her life. Even in death she has made an impact on many otherĘs through the gift of organ donation.

Not many things get to me these days, i have become censored to the brutality of this world in alot of ways, but this thread made me step back for a second and it hit me how deeply tragic this loss is not just for the corporation mates who have lost a friend, a loved one, but for the whole community of eve-online.
Im proud to see the community come together in force over this and i think it shows how powerful MMO's have become at uniting people together, this is more than a game, it is a refuge for many of us, the relationships built here are as real as the ones in the outside world and i think thats why this one hurt so much for people who did not even know Beachie 88 directly, we have lost yet another comrade in the stars, another twinkle in the night.
Let us never forget.
My heart goes out to her family and everyone who flew with her...
My prayes go to her daughter...
My thougths are with her husband right now as he trys to find a way to go forward, we as a community are here for you.

allways sad to hear news of a departed one and in such circumstances.
We do get alieanated to real life events that we see on tv etc and when something like this comes to our eve family it really strikes home.

It's hard to lose someone you love,
Someone that you hold dear.
Wether that person is a Mother,
Wife, gamer of a friend.
It hurts the ones that are left behind,
And will seem like it goes on forever.
But as bad as it hurts look at
it from this angle...
Even though you lost someone you love,
You have gained another ANGEL.
I never had the pleasure of flying with her or even shoot at her, but its truly a sad thing when someone looses their life this way. Her family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. I also pray that they catch the person who did this and they are brought to justice.

An idea for a memorial...
Build the memorial in Yulai (the 'meeting ground' of EVE). Every time a player dies in RL, add a marker of some kind. It can be described as a monument to those capsuleers whose clones failed.
Other players who have died (such as Darkroni and INNOMINATE NIGHTMARE) could be similarly remembered.
I also like the idea to name zero-sec systems after players who have died.

I hope that all the posts here by the EVE community help in some small way.
There has been discussion about in game memorials before, and one of the things that I really thought appropriate was that CCP could create a beacon in the EVE gate system with the character name and a date. A small but simple gesture that shows the power of the community feeling.

it must really suck to lose your mom, the closest ive ever come to that was losing my grandma.(i have a slight idea of what the daughter might be feeling because im 13 and for the husband, my mom was in the dumps for months)

How do I start this? Monday May 7 2007 the Eve community had lost a vetran player and dear friend. Please forgive me if I don't type this right but Beachie88 ( her in game name ) was at home on Monday May 7 2007 and about 8 am a man broke into her home with her 19 yr old daughter there and startted opening fire. Beachie was shot three time 1 time to the head and the daughter was shot in the leg.

Beachie will be missed by everyone that loved her. Her husband ( whom I will not mention at this time) also plays Eve and they both are in the same corp which is the corp I belong to. I would like to say more but I am with out words right now and all I can do is think about the loss we have encountered.
So I hope someone at C.C.P. reads this and gets in contact with me. if you would like the news link on the event I can post it but until I hear from her husband I wish to respect her and her husband by not saying to much.

I would like to add my name to those offering their condolences, not that it will probably be much more than a statistic. And that is, in a way, what this is all about and why so many people have posted. We are so used to the statistics, figures stating so many people involved in gun crime, that it is so much percent lower or higher than last year, it dehumanises it. I didn't know Beachie, never met her in game or out of game. However, just being part of the same comunity, hearing about it like this brings home how horrible loss of life is. When it's 6 billion people out there, knowing you aren't ever going to meet one of them is easy to take in your stride. In a smaller comunity of 150,000 it seems like it should be almost as impersonal, but I shared something with Beachie, as I do with all of the people in Eve, and this sharing, this common ground makes me feel like it was a member of my own family who has been killed. Strange, isn't it. This feels more like finding out that you are never going to meet a cousin than a stranger just because we played the same game.
I would like all Beachie's family and friends, whoever you are, to know that my thoughts are with them today. If I were religious I would prey, but as I am not I will settle for thinking and hoping that those with a religion are right, if only that they might see their loved ones again.

Im very sorry for what happened to your friend Najenna. Incidents such as this are one of my worst fears. I really don't like the idea of having a firearm inside the house with children, though I admitt that I would feel better by havin one in a lock box. If anyone else know her (or the houseband), RL or here, please remember that even though its hard to find the right words and even though it doesn't always seem so - just BEING there is a support.
All losses are hard to come to terms with - and the sudden, unexpected ones are even harder.
Might sound strange, but... this tragic story has touched me.
Is there any chance that CCP will send flowers or something like that to the funeral? If you are, is it possible for you to somehow collect money from any players who wants to express their sympathies that way?

My condolences to her husband and family. While there is nothing I can say to take away the pain of your loss, remember that she is in a better place (it sounds trite I know.)
Remember also that even though I never had the pleasure of interacting with her, she will be missed by all of us. I'm sure I speak for most of the community when I say you have us to lean on in this tough time, and our support.

Greetings fellow gamers, I much appreciate the long listing of replies to this thread My wife and I were married almost 6 years but have been together for almost 10 years together we have 7 children <from previos marriages> but none together. Kelly Brooks age 19 was Jean's middle child and is recovering well at her fathers home before i begin the story of what happened i want all to know that altho her death was tragic she felt no pain. and the biggest blessing of all is with her death 11 people were able to receive organs that <hopefully> saved thier lives. so even in death my wife gave life. as most people are aware new agency's dont always get the facts right.so i will give all the local news agencys web addresses and please feel free to convo me ingame beachie88 was not killed in a home invasion it was a targeted murder she was shot 3 times in the back of the head execution style with a 380 auto pistol. kelly was shot 1 time in the left leg the bullet passing under her kneecap and fracturing a bone. you can read all the details from the various news agency's posted below.

It's encouraging to see that amid the tragedy, you find that others are given hope by the donation of your wife's organs. Thanks to an organ donor, I live a healthy life now; before my surgery, I was an organ donor, and believe in karma. Karma will come about for the person that committed this crime against your family.

As was mentioned before there are a few stations in eve named for people who passed away, like the smoske memorial in h8 and 1 or 2 other outposts, perhaps ccp can remove the ability to rename them. Although i've never heard of anyone that has tried to do so.
It would be nice that they stay that way till the eve servers go down as well, as they inevitably must one day.

Every time I see something like this it's a solemn reminder how quickly things can change peoples lives.

I can't really describe how this affects me, I've worked the same kind of job. I hope you (Fordfan) and your kids can find some comfort with these posts. It's going to be tough, I have some idea, with a 23 year old buddy of mine who was too trusting of people - being shot down at work 15 years ago. It's not the same but I have some 'small' idea of what you might be going through.
I read the story and told my own wife about it and it really hit us. Condolences from both of us. She was doing the right thing, it's just too bad that the world has so many other imperfect people in it.

Words are all I can offer, though I wish there was more I could do for all the people touched by this grievous event. For all the good words'll do, you have my sincerest sympathy and heartfelt condoleances for Beachie's husband, family and friends. It is painful beyond words to have someone dear snatched away so suddenly and I know the feeling very well.
All I can hope for now is that you all recover from this terrible blow and that the justice will come swiftly for the guilty.

Dorthy Gene i used to call her [ mama ]. was a happy person she was always smiling and she knew how to make me laugh. I will miss her. I try to think of the great times i had with her and Kenny, dinner and drinks ect. but i end up in tears. I spent some time with kenny last night and there are not words to discribe the pain and suffering going on here. God rest her soul.... Tim

IĘm sorry that I have not posted until now. IĘve tried a few times but become overwhelmed with sorrow that I cannot finish. I cannot imagine what you must be going through but, know that I am here if you need.
I remember you both telling me the story of what happened in 2004 and how frustrated she felt that things kept getting postponed. There is no reason that this should have happened. This matter should have been settled a long time ago and I feel immense anger toward a system that could have let this get dragged on for so long. This tragic loss should never have come to be.
I know Mama was your pet name for her but, while she was in our corp., she was a mother to us all. She was never afraid to tell you how it was and she never pulled a punch. I loved that about her. Jean was the kind of woman that made you feel better after you talked to her. I know she was brave until the end and she is watching over all of us from above now.
IĘve been thinking about her for the last few days and keep remembering waking her up in the morning because your computer wanted a sandwich. I knew you would leave your computer on with TS running and loved it when she would kick you out of bed to tell me to shut up. I miss that more than you could know. I will try to not dwell on how her life ended but on how she lived and the good times we had. Jeanie was a one of a kind woman who I was honored to have known and to call friend.
If there is anything I can do for you or you just want to talk, you have my cell and can find me in game. I have sent you a little isk to start the ōKeep BeechieĘs acct onlineö fund. Maybe one day that granddaughter will take over her acct. I think Jeanie would have wanted that.

My condolences on your loss. Although I do not know Beachie88, I do remember seeing FordFan several times around my current sector. So, I guess I feel some sort of connection. Just the idea blows my mind away at what happened.
This is also not the first time something like this has happened in the online games that I play. Though nothing has happened to me...I always feel like I'm responsible. Probably because my mind puts me in that position. It is always a sad thing.

I know most of you never knew Jean aka "Beachie". I knew jean over the course many months and joyed over the sound of her voice on teamspeak. We flew together in 2 different corps and mined countless hours together. I will miss her. I will miss her banter, her humor, and her jokes on the corp channel. I will miss her voice from across the room. Jean you will always be remembered, God rest your soul.

tuesday morning 7/15 beachie< Dorthy Jean McReynolds > will be flown home to her place of birth Barboursville KY to be laid to rest beside her younger brother in the family burial plot, the funeral home name is Knox Funeral home in barboursville KY. the viewing will be either wednesday or thursday depending on arrival time of flight and service should follow next day. for those who can/wish to attend please contact Joe Hopper at the funeral home <info available on net> due to extensive time needed for organ donations exact times are not available until she is received by the home by the time this info is available we will already be enroute to KY from Florida and i will be unable to post needed info online.pleaase if you decide to attend seek me out at the funeral so we may have the chance to honor beachies memory together. I will be available tomorrow 7/14/07 till 2 pm online and then our family will be on the road. i wish i could say more about details...if there are any questions the funeral home will be able to answer them after tuesday evening

Someone complained about there being millions of memorials. How about one memorial placed out of the way but listed on the map. And all someone would have to do is send it to CCP and when they got time they could just add another name to the info.

I dont read the forums here, Sgt Rockport told me, I am Very Sorry for your Loss Ford. I cant believe this happened. I have flown with beechie and you on many Ice operations in Omist. She was an Excellent Miner. I am really sad about this and hope You and the family pulls through strongly. I am one of those that never had the opportunity to meet Beachie88, nor have I met her husband, but things like this are something that affect us all. That a person could commit such a heinous act, for nothing more than petty selfishness, and remove from the world a person who was obviously a very loving, caring, and worthwhile person, is a tragedy that words cannot sufficiently describe.
I wish swift justice for this, so that some small measure of comfort can be had by those who are left without her, husband, daughter, family, and friends.

EVE may only be a game and that we all 'fling poo' at each other on the forums, but we are all part of one big online family.
When one of us departs in such tragic circumstances and in this case, in such a meaningless and senseless way we all feel upset. We are after all, only human.
She died, doing what she belived was the right thing to do, its a shame others did not feel the same way.

Reading through these pages it struck me, as it appears to have struck others who have posted similar thoughts, that whilst "it's only a game", it's a game played by real people. People who, for all their arguing, whining, moaning and smacktalking, are in essence one big family, and when one of them is torn from us in such a manner, all come together to offer our support and condolences for those who such a tragedy immediately affects.
I found this quote from the film The Crow, it seems to sum up what has been said by people in this thread:
"If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn. People die. But real love lives forever."
I never knew you Beachie88, but RIP.

I am Stunned.. This is local news to me. I read this in the paper the other day and was angered at what happened. (more angry at the Judge) Now I find out it's an Eve player too is disconcerting. (The name sounded familiar then I realized I had seen Beachie88 when I used to live in Omist). What a small world indeed that we live in.

This is Jeans oldest daughter Renee..... I just wanna thank everyone for all the kind comments you guys have made about my mother. She is and will always be a wonderful and beautiful person. She holds a special place in everyones heart and this page means alot to me and my family. You guys are helping everyone stay strong and i thank all of you guys. This means alot. Just keep my mom in your thoughts and know that me and my family are gonna make it and not going anywhere. I will begin by offering my heartfelt condolences and best wishes of speedy recovery to the daughter. As to the mental scars left to all who knew Beachie, all I can say is do not be afraid to remember her. Only time can heal such wounds. I personally salute the family who did the right thing with the organ donation. My ex's daughter just had a liver transplant very recently, without which she would not survive much longer, and it is this selfless last act that lets the donor live on in a way that is beyond those who knew and remember them.
We are a community and this loss is tragic and senseless, and yet life does go on, and beachie88 will be remembered.

My sincere condolences. It is truly a shame that someone will take someone's life away like that, in an instant, to remove that person's chance to live the rest of their life, and to bring such awful grief to their loved ones, through pure malice and for such basic greed.
I hope the perpetrator gets what's coming to them, and that equal pain and anguish is visited upon them in this life and the next.

its always disheartining to learn about sumone passing in that way. sum people just dont realise that this more of social interaction than just a game it allows many people from different cultures to communicate with each learn things about places besides there little hole in the wall. i did not personelly know beachie88 but i can guess a few points about the type of person she was and it saddens me deeply at the loss to the world as a whole and my condolences reach out to those that suffered from the loss most profoundly

seeing this topic filled with heartfelt wishes of recovery from a great loss, i would like to suggest our own little tribute to a person many of us might have never known, but feel aquanted nonetheless;
it might be a longshot but my suggestion is that we perhaps could hold a memorial flight in a certain system with the required node support from CCP.
We in holland (no idea how it is in the rest of the world) hold silent walks for persons who have died due to violence and those who wish to join can join. It is a moment to reflect on the terrible things that happen to hundreds and perhaps thousands of people on a daily basis, and also a tribute to the person it is organised for...
Perhaps a day with 3 set times (for all the major timezones) for pilots to join in this particulair system or perhaps systems but i can imagine it would take an immense effort and support from CCP to make it actually workable and offcourse the support from the major EvE community (which would be no problem i suspect) ..
Once again i give the family and friends of beachie88 my best wishes in this terrible time of loss.. and as someone already said; it must be cool (and heartwarming) to know you have 30 000+ family/friends....

On a personal level, I just want to say that even though I'm in the military and having done 3 tours in Iraq I've seen more than my fair share of re-patriations, it's because we expect that out there that it doesn't tend to hit home that hard. To all who have posted beachie was laid to rest today in her hometown of kentucky. If at all possible i will keep her account alive so she can fly by my side, some comfort for me I guess. what has happened here was indeed a trajedy and i am still reading forum posts and private emails from those who were touched by this event. there is no doubt in my mind that this is "NOT JUST A GAME" and the evidence is right here for all of you to read. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all no matter if you posted or not I know beachie was in your mind even if just for a moment. Our entire family is deeply touched by the outpouring emotion.......

I wish to extend my condolances to you Fordfan and your daughter. I don't know you and I have never met Beachie, but this story has truly touched me. I can not possibly imagine the grief of your loss. Reading posts from other players that knew her, she sounded like a wonderful woman, and losing good people always hurts. I pray that you and your family fully recover from this emotionally and phyically. My belief is that all the good people we lose around us are spared the ugliness that this world is at times. And when it's are time to pass away we will be joined with our loved ones in waiting. I feel my words to you feel very inadequate, but hopefully you can find some comfort in them.

I did not know Beachie88 her Husband or daughter, it is times like this you wish you had made more of an effort.
Its also at times like these that you see that this is not just a game or that those icons on the screens are not just make believe, and that caring is still possible over the internet.

My condoleances to her family, her friends and corporation.
Allthough I never met her and new to this game, its always sad to hear someone be gone.
Just like EA Jabik of ISD team, I will rename one of my ships to "Beachie88" in memory of her.
Allthough I dont have much, but if the corporation she was in need ISK to build up a memorial site for her I will gladly donate as much as I can.
Rest in Peace Beachie88. You will be truly missed by your loved ones.

Read about this whilst browsing, recently lost a friend to some illness, affected me more than I thought it would, condolences to the ones close to the dead woman.
Seem to have lots of friends online, not as many as in rl, but would react in the same way as someone I knew to talk to.....

I never knew Beachie88 and it seems as if that is my loss.
It is never nice to hear of a member of the EVE community passing away. I am well aware of what the people here can come to mean to you. As sad as this news is it is heartenening to see so many celebrating her.

Words cannot express how much this story and the outpouring of kind words has touched me to see... and I'm not even involved. I am both awed, inspired and humbled by just how wonderful the people in this community can be when the chips are down.
Though my own voice is insignificant on it's own, I join it with all the others and the deafening roar they have caused here when I say:

Having recently heard about this tragedy, I am still in disbelief that in this life heartless people could end the life of one person, and then turn to injure one of the victim's loved ones.
Yet, from reading everyone's responses, there is at least some comfort that the EVE community nurtures many amazing and decent people.
I give my sincerest condolences to the family and friends in light of the tragic loss of Beachie88. I wish her daughter a speedy recovery, and the family the strength to carry on.

I have just finnished reading a truly heartbreaking story, and would like to send my deepest sympathies to those hurt in this tragedy...
In response to such tragedy I have decided that the character names (beachie88) and (Fordfan) shall be placed in 10+ standings with me and my corp. They will have complete immunity while flying in any space I occupy.

I cant begin to express my emotion to see people expressing emotion over someone they never knew or even knew they existed. our family continues to read the forums on a daily basis and every day we rejoice that people will always remember beachie for who and what she was and did. a special thanks to ccp for the heartwarming cards and everything else they have done to support us but most of all it is every person here that posted and all those that read but did not post we know your out there and still thinking about her. She was very special in our life and now yours too.
update on kelly's recovery she is now walking on the injured leg although still in the leg brace the stitches were removed a few days ago and her physical recovery is coming along nicely. her emotional recovery will take a much longer time. we ask for your prayers and support for her still as her wounds heal.
update on criminal charged with robbery in initial event 3 years ago. for some unknown and unexplained <by states atty office> reason the kidnapping charges have been dropped against him. we are as much in the dark about this as everyone else since they wont talk to us either. And at this time no charges have been filed against anyone for this crime.

I am truly shocked when i read this.
My sincerest sympathy and heartfelt condoleances for Beachie's husband, family and friends in these difficult times.
All I can hope for now is that you all recover from this terrible loss.

Reading all the responces in this thread has warmed my heart a little. I such a politically fractured game, there are some things above and beyond it, which bring us all together.

I lost my mother late april this year, after a sudden illness, so i have an idea of what is going on inside your head(s).

Fordfan, I wish to express my heartfelt condolences for your wife's tragic death; and my best wishes to your daughters swift and full recovery. Such difficult times, but after reading this thread it's obvious you're not alone and have plenty of support.
Reading this thread through to its conclusion has brought tears to my eyes more than once. And it is that very reaction that makes me love this community even more. I would absolutely love to see some sort of memorial for all community members that we have lost, a place of peace to remember the lives of those we cherish.
Thanks for making such a great game and fostering such a great community CCP.
RIP Beachie, you'll be missed by all, even by those whom you never met.

This IS an awesome idea. Actually I can't imagine a better one. Every MMO should have something like this.
My heart is out to the family, and the friends for the loss they have experienced. I can't imagine loosing my wife, I really can't. So I can only glimpse what this must be like to those affected. Truly my heart and thoughts out to you.
Not to take away from this, but the memorial idea is outstanding. I can't tell you how many friends I have lost who I only knew through a MMO I was playing. Friends who one day I would be raiding with and the next I hear they were killed in a car accident or blown up by an IED or ... Think on this CCP, you could take the lead yet again in a time where MMO and RL seem to blend to the surprise of all. It would be a fitting tribute to all.

Ladies and Gentlemen I am happy and sad to tell you this but the guy that beachie88 was supposed to testify against was found guilty and sentenced to life with out parole. I once again want to thank you all for your support and letters that Fordfan and I have recieve from you all.
I will keep you posted. Cause many of you American Citizens know that he will appeal the jury and judges desicion.
Once you get this Robotech thing in your blood its there to stay... |

I hope they throw away the key and bring him to justice. I'm very sorry about your loss. It's amazing how a game can change the lives so many people.

yes they sent a hole bunch of flowers to her funeral and sent cards and other things that Mr fordfan(her husband) has not told me yet. I haven't spoken to fordfan in about 1 1/2 months for he is still trying to get thing sortted out and still coming to grips with everything.
