In all honesty, if BoB released information like MC or many other alliances that don't think everyone else is substandard, I don't think half the game would hate them at all. BoB's biggest problem is basically that on these forums most of them are d*s. We've all seen it, there's no way that's just opinion. And then in the spirit of "well you did it first" of course lots are going to stoop to their level. If someone does something worthwhile, they'd like the credit due. People don't want their accomplishments spun till their meaningless and they don't want someone condescendingly "tick, tocking" everyone all the time. The single most damaging thing BoB can do to the coalition is to just clean up their image and beat everyone "fair and square". Nobody can say anything to them then, though it'll take awhile to get the forums out of the mode they themselves put them in. I have no problem giving BoB credit for actual hard fought and won accomplishments, but nobody wants to compliment a d*.

As to whether this is a mistake, I don't think so. We're not on a hearts and minds campaign so it really doesn't matter what our enemies think of us and in any case I doubt anything we could say here would change their minds, even if we wanted to try. I still don't comprehend how people could convincingly single out Bob before the polarization as an entity that "abused" this forum, and now the threadstarter would have people believe it spells doom for bob when they post here again. Wars aren't decided on this forum. You might get some people worked up but thats as far as it goes. I really don't understand why people are so fuss up over arrogance. It's exactly the same in real life when someone comes up to me telling someone else is darn arrogant. Know what's my reply? "So what? Let him be arrogant, it's none of my business and i couldn't care less since he don't deserve any attention from me". So, if BOB is so arrogant...why are you so aggitated about how we act? It's not like you own us and have control, you're nothing to us and we're nothing to you. Very simple solution if you don't know why you're angry over BOB's arrogance...come and fight us or continue whatever you're doing before this.

I still think their major mistake was using MC to attack the North, I think they would have been better used to attack Goons/RED/TCF. That gave RED time to construct replacement ships etc from the fight at the shipyards. I think the coalitions biggest mistake so far is that instead of blobbing they need to break up into smaller fleets and hit multiple systems at once considering the new rules imposed. Given the time differences of the coalition alliance they should be able to maintain several smaller fleets almost round the clock and just keep pressure by attacking bob/mc etc system after system.
