You seem to forget that D2 attacked ASCN while blue to them and asked BoB to help wipe ASCN off the map prior to the whole Pure Blind OP. Maybe ASCN never forgotten that either?

Our friends are a defending force. they defend only their own teritory. thats why you never saw a fix member in fountain, never a xelas member in querious and nevera a fix/xelas member in feythabolis. defendeing and not attacking. when bob is attacking you then its only bob. ask ASCN about that. or RAGoon.
I am quite convinced I saw both FIX, MC and BOB(Hi Shrike! ) in Period Basis when AAA was enjoying MC space.
I could have been drunk though.

Truth is, D2 never managed to deal properly with its G heritage, and I think that's why it eventually died.
However, thanks for the good times during the Branch campaign, and gl to all former D2 pilots.

There is nothing to be bitter about. Nobody really expected D2 to help themselves by jumping on BOB from the other side.
Let it go. ASCN failed to hold their space and that is that.

MC would be no match for BoB, for multiple reasons.
I think we're more useful to BoB alive than dead, but it would be naive to think that things cannot change. We will see what this crazy thing brings next.
As to who helped MC when AAA invaded: - TOXIN - BOB - D-L - AXE - FIX - Fallen Souls - Executive Outcomes - Gruntfuttocks
And a lot of other friends and Period Basis residents. We're still very thankful for the support they showed us then. -

This thread is for an announcement and not for your speculations and so. The fact that D2 has done incredible things in this game remains and too last aslong as they did is a great accomplishment in the game. They fought, the won and the lost some. The fact still remains that they accomplished lots and lots and should get credit for that.
STFU with the hahas and told ya so's and disapointments. Good luck D2 and you done great, you will be missed and i look forward to flying with you guys again in the future.

They had no fear fighting a mighty block in eve ( bob) They had build a counterpart against them at least loose but hell its a game. My condolence to all the ppls who laugh about them. And without one of the stongest and pvp experied ally`s in background ( MC) it woud looks a bit diffrent for BOB.

It is a sad day for me I had great fun in D2, figting along with many wonderful people in most battles from Fountain to Branch. I will always be proud to be part of it, even when reasons for my departure was not my own.
And to those flaming D2 in this thread - I was there on the battlefields and I didn't see you then...
GL to all D2 pilots, thanx to friends who stood by us and gratz to enemies who really did win this war - you all know who you are.

They played docking games in fountain, and then once the fight moved north all the pvpers left... They did more forum posting about "fountain terror campaign" then fighting in game...

I dont get what your saying here. They NAP'd the north so they didnt really have to take space to begin with, and its obviously at the rate they fell they didnt build a counterpart to anything except ASCN

Then maybe the coalition shouldn't have been so busy trying to take MC space and then complaining when MC went to war on the side of BoB.

Please reference the post where FLA claimed that they were "rich beyond comprehenson". Our portion of Deklein was actually so-so as 0.0 regions go. I don't think *anyone* viewed us as being particularly wealthy or as having a large amount of resources as 0.0 alliances went.

Once upon a time you dressed so fine You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you? People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall" You thought they were all kiddin' you You used to laugh about Everybody that was hangin' out Now you don't talk so loud Now you don't seem so proud About having to be scrounging for your next meal. How does it feel How does it feel To be without a home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone? You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely But you know you only used to get juiced in it And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it You said you'd never compromise With the mystery tramp, but now you realize He's not selling any alibis As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes And ask him do you want to make a deal? How does it feel How does it feel To be on your own With no direction home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone? You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns When they all come down and did tricks for you You never understood that it ain't no good You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat Ain't it hard when you discover that He really wasn't where it's at After he took from you everything he could steal. How does it feel How does it feel To be on your own With no direction home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone? Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people They're drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things But you'd better lift your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe You used to be so amused At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal. Well we're big rock singers We got golden fingers And we're loved everywhere we go We sing about beauty and we sing about truth At ten thousand dollars a show We take all kinda pills That give us all kinda thrills But the thrill we've never known Is the thrill that'll getcha When you get your picture On the cover of the Rollin' Stone
Wanna see my picture on the cover Wanna buy five copies for my mother Wanna see my smilin' face On the cover the cover of the Rollin' Stone
I got a freaky old lady Name a ******* Katie Who embroideries on my jeans I got my poor ol' grey haired Daddy Drivin' my limousine Now it's all designed To blow our minds But our minds won't really be blown Like the blow that'll getcha When you get your picture On the cover of the Rollin' Stone
Wanna see my pictures on the cover Wanna buy five copies for my mother Wanna see my smiling face On the cover the cover of the Rollin' Stone
We gotta lotta little teenage blue-eyed groupies Who'll do anything we say We got a genuine Indian guru Who's teachin' us a better way We got all the friends that money can buy So we never have to be alone And we keep gettin' richer, but we can't get our picture On the cover of the Rollin' Stone
Wanna see my picture on the cover Wanna buy five copies for my mother Wanna see my smilin' face On the cover of the Rollin' Stone On the cover of the Rollin' Stone Gonna see my picture on the cover Gonna buy five copies for my mother Gonna see my smiling face On the cover of the Rollin' Stone

Anyway, the death of a large alliance like Dusk and Dawn and ASCN is something we will see more often if i'm right. And even if you do not think i'm right in my theories, my point of view remains unchanged. The game is going more and more off-balance.

Originally by: Crovan This has been the most challenging, rewarding, nerve-wracking, time-consuming, exhillerating, mind-numbing, action-packed war I have ever been involved in, and while it is not quite over, I think a tip of the hat is due to D2. When it comes to the northern alliances the smack/member ratio on eve-o, in local, etc. is one of the absolute lowest that I saw in this conflict. Even Flinx seemed to try to be respectful about smacking.
I think Seleene will agree that this war gave the leadership of MC a major paradigm shift vis-a-vis what we are capable of as an alliance.
I would like to thank those who helped us in Fade, Deklein, PB, and Branch. There is work yet to be done, though. Who knows what tomorrow brings.
Good luck to those leaving D2. May you find something in this game that you can have fun with. To those using this thread as a springboard for smack one way or the other, get over it. Be gracious in victory and defeat, and shut the hell up if you weren't there and are using second-hand EVE-O "news" alt posts as your primary flow of information.
You dont sound like a paid mercenary very much. Or was the fact that bob wasnt paying you cleared up in the prior month?
Brave words from a man whose alliance ran from the front lines only to resume the forum campaign.
Also, your post makes no sense. Seriously, people need to stop borrowing these forum smack phrasebooks.
In what way does what I said make it sound like I wasn't paid? The fact that I show respect and honor to a fallen foe, knowing that the only thing separating our side from theirs was who was cutting the checks? Or was it the fact that, as someone who was in this war, day in and day out, I don't think that armchair generals and the peanut gallery has much room to provide critical commentary?
I refuse to see your logic....perhaps it's just because it isn't present.
