I feel like I need to have a movie made of me logging in... to read an eve-mail saying holy crap nav you have to jump about 10 Million M3 of stuff to empire.. and you have 3 days to do it..
and me saying "well this is good" and then logging off cause I just don't care..

and as for not caring.. I have a full time job now. Which i enjoy.. and I dont skip work or go out of my way to play eve.. its a game now.. So i dont care to get crazy over this whole turn of events ... Saturday ill spend my day off moving crap to empire with the rest of xelas.. and Then ill think of the next step.

no wonder they have turned on you.
In my past life I've fought with Xelas, and some of the guys were great guys. And I have no reason to know why BoB have turned on you. But I'm sure the amount of respect they had for Xelas has even dropped lower!!!
Fight them, you'll not win, but show them your good people to have around! Don't just retreat back to empire, for the fun !
/me is quite ashamed by this act (not BoB's but if this is what Xelas are doing).

This is all so exciting. I wonder if Xelas will fight. Probably not, but they might not get everything moved in time, which leaves the door open for BoB ganking some freighters after the deadline. Maybe even before the deadline, its not like anyone can do anything about it!

I distinctly recall the formation of a 'STC Equity Management' alt corp by the (apparently rich) last Tribal Souls-era STC directors...whatever happened to them...Kiraxis, right? Yet in the last 3 months I've flown been in and out in fountain it has always been xelas and xelas alone, that has made a call to arms and fought. Never bob, only xelas. Wonder why.
I'm going to guess that it has something to do with the fact that BoB doesn't live in Fountain. If you want to go get yourself killed by BoB, head to Period Basis or Delve.

STC Gets built up.. Starts having fun and putting plans into motion... We built our outpost.. Rejoiced.. started building up for more projects and plans..
Only to have someone we have absolutely no chance of beating in a head to head fight.. take it away..
I keep building myself up.. Thinking maybe this time things will work out.. Put hours and hours of my time into working towards a cause.. to have this happen..
not sure i see the point of 0.0 anymore aside from disappointment..

well there is a lesson to be learned here, dont claim space unless you can defend it, dont claim on the basis that if you are attacked your ally x y z will come to defend you, this has been long overdue for xelas imho, i've fought xelas a lot both on this character and my alt, and from that experience it has never seemed that you guys have been cohesive in defending your space, the only exception i've seen is requiem of hades and 7'th space cav who have made efforts to defend it.
tbh i dont envy your next few weeks in eve, mass logistics and relocating all your stuff back to empire or npc stations, it sux but its a valuable lesson learned wouldnt you say?

What happened to you is the main reason I'm Anti-Bob.
I've heard statements that Xelas was not exactly pulling its weight, but since I don't personally know you guys I'll leave that issue out of the argument. Be it known that I agree with removing Leeches when necessary. So the reason may have been legimiate for ANY alliance to make.
However, in this case, we are also talking about Bob.
Since it is Bob's stated intention to control all of 0.0, I see only 2 possible outcomes for Bob Pets should they 'win':
1> You join Bob at some point in the future.
2> You are simply the last to be crushed by Bob.
On Point 1>, I don't believe that Bob intends to happily merge with their Pets in the future. They may attempt to Cherry-Pick some people, but the vast majority of Corp members will simply be handed walking papers, just like Xelas was. So I don't think 'Joining Bob' is a viable strategy.
On Point 2>, what you are attempting was called 'Finlandization' after WWII. See, Finland was a Western-leaning country, but Russia was next door. So...to keep the USSR from invading... they modified their Country's laws to make them more appealing to the USSR. This bought them time, during which the USSR so happened to collapse. However, had the USSR not collapsed, Finland would have been eventually conqured. They just made it less imperative that it be done quickly by becomming a USSR Pet in the meantime.
In my mind, each Bob Pet is simply a Finland waiting to be slaughtered. Now, you may be hoping that Bob will fall before they decide to eat you. If so, then remember that the way to the USSR just *might* go through Finland.

I understand going to work to pay the bills, but you should still care. I've never skipped work to play a game, and I'm sure that a lot of other people haven't done that either, but the fact still stands that the majority of Xelas never felt like the alliance was worth fighting for. That is what I was commenting on.
You can be as emo as you like, but you can't ignore the dozens of posts made on Xelas Internal forums made by past FCs and High Command asking for more participation. That's all that ever happened. Asking only gets you so far, and I only know of 3 corps that were ejected from Xelas for no participation or other reasons.
Demon Womb - for refusing to fight in anything other than T1 frigates.
Gallente Nebula (can't remember the whole name) - for harboring ISK farmers (ummm... kinda did a 180 on that one I guess)
and some other corp whose name escapes me.
Setenta surely tried it's best to be everything they could, but 1 corp can't carry an entire alliance.

i think this setiment actually sums up how alot of veterans feel about 0 space these days, why spend time building something up when its easy for the supepowers ( mass cap fleets powers ) to take it whenever they feel like it. just my opinin on 0 space life, which is y i live in empire now as well.

Well, maybe. But we know very well there are some other alliances being bobs pets right now who act like Xelas did. BOB knows it too. Rise wont be the next ones because they are too close to Goons. But there are some others springing to mind.

You need to step back and chill man. Before calling Kryztal a meta-gamer based on her affiliation with BoB, you should maybe keep track of how much she really does play. She, like a lot of BoB members are not meta-gamers. The fact that BoB is better than you doesn't mean BoB automatically plays way more than everybody else. BoB has a better command structure, corp discipline, fleet commanders etc. Just because your alliance was not fortunate enough to have leaders with these qualities does not mean that BoB cheats/hacks/exploits/meta-games. Furthermore, given the fact you had at one point 7 accounts, possibly more, implying that Kryztal is a meta-gamer is incredibly ironic. The more you whine about it, the sillier you make yourself look, and the more it looks to the public like you actually do care that Big Bad BoB kicked you out.

Having run Xelas for six months at the latter part of last year, I can assure everyone it was not an easy task. It nearly killed my corp and took most of the fun out of my game.
Nav, my old friend. I dont know what happened in Xelas after I left, but i know this. Your corp has some great members, you have a great history and wallowing in self pity will not move you forward.
We have all taken knocks in this game, some bigger than others but one thing should always remain. Dignity will help you to see a clear path. Whatever that path is take it with you.
It will see you true.

The right reaction ought to have been to start claiming systems in the North or East.
Eviction from the GBC doesn't automatically mean BoB hates you, it just means that you've pretty much gravitated to be on par with the vast majority of non GBC. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just like being expelled from paradise. Don't turn it into such by a loss of purpose. If you lose your purpose in EVE, then it will just be a vindication that the eviction was justified.

my own opinion is that there are many things that went on in Xelas that lead to this. we could go on an on about it but its really no ones concern but our own. ultimatly though it comes down to BOB creating there own content. thats what EVE is about player created content. this event created somthing for BOB to do besides blast the crap out every living thing in EVE ( fun as that probably sounds to them) they manage the space they conquer the way they see fit. you can't fault them for it.
to those people saying Xelas should prove themselves and stand up and fight. you honestly expect an alliance our size to accomplish what the great coalition could not? come be serious, you just want to see the small, maybe slightly fat, kid get punched in the face a few times before he leaves the playground. who wouldn't ?
to those ( and i think it was only one )that Setenta has not much of accomplished anything, check your facts before you speak and when your corp has done half of what we have done you feel free to speak up.
to those who say the pet got what was coming, we will see who is standing in six months, a year and beyond.
I look forward to the future of Setenta, we have been around practicaly as long as the game itself and hicups like these will not change the fact that we will be here alot longer. maybe one day we will again have our own name on the map. who knows what the future holds for us but whatever it is we will take it as we can it maybe be head on or it maybe be to one side or the other but we always progress.

Stand up for what you worked for. Fighting BoB has 2 benifits.
1) It gets rid of all the undesirerables that you have allowed to carry your flag and:
2) It earns you some respect, self respect, the most important kind.
Have you stopped to think that perhaps Molle is doing for you what you have been unable to do for yourselves?
Lean you out a bit and make you proud again?
Perhaps if you manage to prove to yourselves that you are worthwhile you could infact prove it to BoB and get a reprive???
But to say you don't care then file some 20 posts complaining/venting on the subject is counter-productive.
I don't mean to be "on" you and I sure don't talk for BoB in anyway but I do think that they have your best interests in mind.
Besides even if you do lose to BoB you will be in much better shape aferwards to go to the new regions and take and hold space there then you are now.
I see by the map that there is still room to conquer stations in goonspace. BoB can't take em that fast.

Let me preface this by saying I think the 0.0 scene is a rigged game, thus I don't partake of it. But, you Xelasians do, so let me offer some common-sense advice here.
You are under the impression that the big bad bob hates you and is being mean and unfair. Well, BoB only knows one thing -- war. Instead of tucking tail and running Because BoB Said So, how about you guys man up and blow all that ISK and war materials you've been saving and put it to some use. Stay in Fountain until someone comes to 'evict' you, and make them do it by force, to the last ship and tower. Because nobody else is going to 'give' you guys a region to live in now.
You have two options here: One option earns you back some respect around the galaxy. The other option means you get no respect again, anywhere, ever. So,
Prove your worth to have existed in this so-called 'Greater BoB Community', Xelas. Or prove yourself cattle by running at the first sign of thunder.

I'm not related to this situation, but like everyone else who isn't I will comment on it anyways.
There is plenty of blame to go around. I don't know what Xelas did to upset BoB, but I would have thought their long relationship would entitle them to a little respect. BoB should have not made a public announcement and given them the oppurtunity to withdraw with some dignity.
Xelas is also at fault for airing their frustrations like this. It only entertains those on CAOD more. Best thing would have been a simple statement thanking BoB for their past commitments to Xelas and withdrawing discreetely.

sad really. a CEO who just doesnt care about even trying to fight back in a constructive way. its dissapointing that ye dont fight for ur space back, but seemly BOB are right in the way they are kicking u out. 0.0 isnt a place to sit down and read a newspaper without dedication the space will be just taken right underneath u, and its obvious nev doesnt have what it takes to lead (from what im picking up from his replies and others)
most alliances fail due not to the alliance, but the players who consider themselves above the rest, yet do nothing to qualify for the position, and yet there own arrogance is what causes the downfall
