I did log back in and when i warped back it put me closer to gate and i managed to get out so sometimes doing the honourable thing has dividends. I never log i like the risk or there is no point in expensive fittings although if im travelling or carrying expensive stuff or even a expensive ship i have a scout!! A decent gate gang prepares for the logoff with a prober. Also nothing worse than probing a logoff to find tech I fittings on a heap of junk

You'd just end up with all the carebears and screaming, crying, and drumming their furry heels on the floor about how they lost their ship due to a disconnect mid-mission or mid "being 'persuaded' to part with his isk / ship by a Pirate" until CCP put it back on again. And to the guy who says if your ISP drops that you should have got a better ISP ...pffft. You think all net dropouts are the ISP's fault? And you name me ONE ISP that's aimed at home users that has a zero service failure rate and I'll fly into Ammamake with a Bestower full to the brim of faction goods ('hurridly checks net to make sure their are none' ) There's always reasons a net connection can drop, and having the best ISP won't ever completely prevent that. Enlighten us all, what is your point? If he did log then I assume he had reasons and they were his reasons, is it forum worthy? If you log cause you think your gonna lose, you¦re not ready to become a pirate. If you log cause you cant affort to lose your ship, you shouldnt be flying it. If you know how to play the game you shouldnt have to log. WTF are you doing flying solo, without backup or a scout thru pirate infested space. Plan ahead. If you get ganked, take it like a man, its your own fault. There are of course exeptions to all rules and there do come up situations that are beyond your control, like lag. But how often does that happen? That should be the exeption, not the rule. But then again, it sucks to follow some ôholier than thouö principles when no one else does. I guess im just anal like that. I was young and needed the money
