Comments like that above are not only spam, but they are insulting. I AM NOT A CAREBEAR. Pirates are an integral part of the game. In fact, without pirates, EVE would be pretty pointless. But we can do without the "shut up j00 l4m3r n00b f4gg07" attitude. THIS IS NOT COUNTERSTRIKE. A few days ago, a battleship covered with missile launchers fired a hoard of Wraith Cruise Missiles at me while I was flying in 0.0 space... he one-hitted my ship. He then podded me. Instead of sending a message to him saying bleep YOU YOU PODDING PIRATE IDIOT ALJSDKFAJSDLKFJAS" like a carebear, I thanked him for podding me so that I didn't have to fly all the way back to Alakgur to get another ship . He responded in kind . This is how pirating should be. The pirates don't act like total jerks, they just fullfil their role in the game. out with the n0rty -Eris Discordia

Part of competitive play is winding up your opponents (or potential opponents). I've heard things from a catcher while waiting for the next pitch that'd make a sailor blush. That said, some people around here take it too far. And some people around here need to invest their isk in a sense of humor. There are fanatics on both sides of the fence. And per usual, those are the ones that are most visible and mark everyone equally bad. I mean its like you want corporations to oblige each other like its sex or something. If that attention is taken from them who knows what will happen. They have to annoy someone somehow. Take away childrens forum rights and they will let out thier anger at failings in the real world elsewhere. So dont ban moo, in fact lets have a forum just for them, so we can go have a laugh when we are bored, and not visit that section if children easily annoy us.

If people try to act 'hard' and smack talk you in a COMPUTER GAME its probably because that person is a child or is an insecure adult who has RL issues. It's the easiest thing in the world to be a 'tough guy' when you're hiding behind a computer screen. Some of the comments I read on here and have had directed at me in game have me LMAO - the concept of it really is hilarious if you think about it.

This is howerver not a problem exclusive to m0o. Recently most heated posts by m0o members are a response from inflamitory(s/p?) comments from people in corps currently suffering heavy defeats at our hands. A few recent posts I have responded to have been to correct outright lies used to try to save face from members of the FA. As the majority of EvE players are not in Fountain at the minute they do not know what is going on and simply have to take the word of others. So this means that when people lie about whats going on we like to set them straight. As for talking smack in local both sides are guilty of this, the only reason we may do more than our opponents is that people usually stfu after we have just taken out several of there battleships for no losses. We do however try to keep it respectfull if possible but there will always be players on both sides with potty mouths. If you look at the forums the majority of posts concerning m0o are not created by m0o and if ppl write ** we will tell them its **. btw silverlance "====PROUD MEMBER OF THE FOUNTAIN ALLIANCE==== ===(even though I haven't even been to Fountain)===" how can you comment on our smack talk if your not even there. Well said DM, avoid the forums and its trolls, and eve can be more enjoyable. Less contact with the trolls the better you eve-life will be.

Weve hit SA,FA and cfs very hard, 3 of the main alliances in hte game. which between them is what?? about 100-150 different corporations and about 2000 ppl. This is where alot of the posts comes from, so many people who's corps/alliance has taken losses and they have came onto the forums and flamed m0o about, as as such weve defended. The same as you would all do if your corp was getting flame threads started about it everyday which contained so many lies that it can get rather heated. I will not say we are blameless by any means but you's are the ones creating most of the threads. A corp mail was sent out in m0o 3 days ago to cut back on hte amount of new threads created about corp activites but weve no control over what the rest of the players do. And we wont have are corp lied about without defending it. Also ppl, dont worry about hating us. It means we are doing are jobs right Edit: However i 100% agree that the number of posts HAS TO STOP, we are sick of it aswell and it involves us, so i can imagine how ****ed off other ppl are getting with it. So i will ask YOU'S to relax on hte number of posts you make, and if you jsut want to flame us pick an already existing thread to do it, there's bound to be one somewhere.

If there was a feature to hide Local Chat death in EVE wouldn't be so bitter - just think of it as an NPC that got you and move on. Bottom line, people don't like losing to other people. And having your face rubbed in it is too much for some. As for in the forums, simply don't read 'em and you won't get offended at all!
