HAL from 2001
Curiously if you replace the letters in HAL with the ones after them in the alphabet, you get IBM...

My first guess was Kashyyk too, but techincaly it's not a jungle planet but a forest planet (so is Endor which is not a planet but a forest moon), and ground there has never been seen (at least not by humans or wookies).
As for my own guess I hope something will pop up today :)

Edited by: Lomex on 23/02/2004 15:14:25 Sqalevon, go re-read those books :P
Specifically where Leto travels to IX (and is left on the surface).
Oh, and there are currently 5 prequels (the Legends of... series set 10,000 odd years before Dune). I know theres at least one other coming. Then there will be the much awaited sequel 'Dune 7' (working title). ___________________________________________ Join in the NEW Sci-Fi Quiz |

Edited by: Lomex on 24/02/2004 08:42:55 Okey, forum problem. *sigh* I can see 8 pages on the main forum page, when I come into this thread I see only 7 pages. Really.... its not THAT hard to code a forum. Especially when you are cheating and using ms controls. ___________________________________________ Join in the NEW Sci-Fi Quiz |
