The XML system is looking for that file on your C:\ even though you saved it somewhere eles. Its a fixed setting and cannot be changed, because othervice you would have to specify which fields need to be updated eachtime. sorry ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

It would be very nice if a sheet would be added for T2 invention cost calculations. I know the exact formulae are not disclosed, but we do know close approximations on successrates. Using this and up to date pricedetails of component, datacore and decryptor will give inventors using this sheet and edge over others, and that's what we all want, isn't it? While on the topic, it would be even better if the invention requirements could be linked straight into the T2 component productionsheet, giving exact details on required quantities of complex reactions etc.

Another thing that would make things a little easier for builing multiple races's t2 items, would it be possible to make the advanced reaction products on the T2 production tab, make fixed and with all advanced reaction selected already? I am inventing multiple races's bpcs and to create a material bill for all bpc's is quite complex now. |

Just found this, and I gotta say ... wow!
Only thing that popped into my mind as I was going through, and I apologize if it's been brought up earlier, but any possibility of including ice materials in the ore tab? Or something similar in the POS Production tab, linked to the missing fuel amounts.

This version has the first version of the Ice To Mine sheet. You can use it to calculate how much Ice you need to mine to get the Fuel you need for your POS.

Edited by: Avariel on 02/07/2008 05:33:10 [Edit to correct my spelling mistakes] Found a bug with the POS Production Page.
I have Domination M Tower Selected and the sheet correctly tells me that it needs Hydrogen Isotopes, but when it's looking for what's missing it's checking the Nitrogen Isotopes In-stock section.
Nice work on the sheet. There's lot of very useful things in here.

How can I import the 'Backup' data from previous releases. I thought this was to prevent users from entering the same data everytime a new version is released...

Unlog the T1 production sheet and press Update/Import
at the moment it is only the T1 Production sheet that can import data, not sure if it is needed for some of the other sheets as well. ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

I have the 't1_production_backup' file in the C folder and version 9 and 10 are both in the same folder as well (C folder). I tried the Update/Import button, but it does not import the file in the C folder as far as I can tell.

the importent part is you need to unprotect the t1 production sheet before you run the Update/import
in excel 2003 go to: Tools -> Protection -> Unprotect Sheet
the thing is that Excel wont let you import data to a protected sheet.
to make sure you dont delete vital parts in the sheet, then please Protect the sheet again after the Import ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

If I may make a suggestion, I saw that it does not import the actual stocks of minerals. Since the hanger contents can be downloaded by API would it be possible to have the stocks imported so that the T1 and T2 minerals and components in stock match what is in the hangers? Also, by taking 30 day wallet data the stocks could be given an average price per unit if it was bought on the market.
edit: oh and pls save the API data or the last imported skills in that file as well :)

and saving of the APIkey is a good idea as well.

new Version 10,5,7
From this version it will now save your APIkey information in the backup file when exporting.
the major change in this version is to the Ice calculator, and as mentioned the APIkey backup.
since the previous versions didnĘt export the API information then you will have to reenter it for a last time.

I'm not sure if I've missed it here, but does the Capital Ships section have the ability to be backed up as well in the sense of Prints, value of prints, etc, in the same fashion as the T1 Components?

Okay.. these might be stupid questions, so forgive me. I just downloaded the spreadsheet, and I'm totally in love so far. But I have a few "how do I" questions.
1. We buy our ore from our corp members. Can I put in what we purchase it for from the corp, and that way, I can figure out during mining ops more easily what each person earned?
2. In the T1 production... I just don't get it. I can't find the update button everyone is talking about. Am I supposed to be able to download the BPO's I have? Or is it supposed to show what I currently have running in a factory? Like I said, I don't get it.
3. POS production. What is the first blue column on the left before the "Material From" in Raw Materials?
4. In the Mining tab, there's no option for Mining Drone I's.
5. Is there anyway to update the ores/minerals I have in stock so I can't have to manually enter them. Since I mine every day, this can get to be tedious.
I think that's it right now. I would love to have a better idea of what some of this does, but I'm sure I'll get it as I use it more. Thanks so much for this!

1) In the sheet called data, you can (in the blue fields) enter your mineral price. Then if you in each sheet select OWN then it will use those prices. I think the Corp mining sheet, that i just released today, will help you pay your corp members for the job they did mining.
2) the Backup/restore is only for backing up BP's that you have entered in this or in previous version of this sheet. you have to go to Item data base and find your item, then enter the minerals it says there. you need to use those amounts for the sheet to calculate right, do NOT enter the amout you see in BP's ingame.
3) The one you are asking for is the D colum i think. In Colum E you can select Market, Moon And actual. That refree to the price you bought it at. so to get a more precise build price, then select actual and then enter the brice you bought the moon material at in colum D.
4) Yes there are. Click on the T2 mining drone, then you get a drop down menu, there you select T1 mining drones.
5) I tryed to impliment it, so that the sheet also downloaded your asset, but its all mixed up when downloading that data, and excel dont have a good enough sorting feature, so its a nightmare trying to select what item you want. so for now that featur does not exsist.

Thanks for the speedy response. Here's a couple more. Sorry to be a pain!
1. I was talking ores and not minerals really. We pay our corp members for the ore. I'm the only one that refines for the corp, and I don't refine but every few days. So, is there a way to put in values for the ore prices, not the minerals? Also, I really would love to see the new sheet you have for corp mining? Is it available yet? I'm almost drooling!
2. Does this mean it will save the information for the BPO's or do I have to re-enter them each time I use them for production? And does that take into account any research you might have done?
3 and 4. BRILLIANT! Cheers.
5. Understood. Don't much like that, but can't ask for everything!
Thanks for all your hard work. I'm sure I'll enjoy this even more. Unfortunately, my boyfriend isn't happy with my obsession on this sheet right now.

1a) The Backup and restore botton is only for making a backup file on your C:/ drive, which you then later on can "Restore" in another sheet ex. Newer version. 1b) The Corp mining sheet is in version 10,6,3
2)You only need to enter the BP information from EVE item database ones, after that you only need to set the right ME level then the sheet calculate the correct mineral use for you. You can use that when you go shopping for minerals.
Im glad you like the sheet, yes i did put a lot of work in it, but i like doing it when i see people enjoy the sheet as much as I. ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

WOW, I have to say that this is a Mining Directors best friends. The new CORP mining calculator is the best. I've done a couple of test rins with it to see how proficent it is and I have to say it works well. The CORP mining calculator can also be used to figure out your own mining amount per hour/day/week. A great tool. I have alot of questions about. Also is their like a How to Guide for using the calculator's etc?
CORP Mining Calculator
1. Break 1-5, What is that for and what does it do?
2. All the way to the right where the minaral totals are what are those totals telling me? Is it saying if I mine Veld. for 3hrs I will get this amount Tril./isk?

yes i am working on a HowToDo manual, i hope i can compleat it soon, or maybe just release a partly compleat one, to explain some of the sheets.
Answer to your questions 1) When doing corp mining not all players start and stop at the same time, or use the same ship and skills. So i tryed to find a fair way to split the minerals mined. I do this with 2 factors, Ship and Time.
The Breaks are for calculating the time for each player. when a player stops or take a break, then you set the "mining/player end time" and then from the drop down menu (break 1) on the Stopped player line, set the mining time. Its an automatic calculated time. if he comes back, then you set a new start time for that player and you will be able to set a new stop time (break 2) for that player, when the mining op ends or he takes another break.
2)The mineral in the fare right is the calculater to split up the "refined" minerals (R24-31) When the corp mining is over and the ore is refined, then you enter the amount of minerals in the colum R24-31. the sheet will then according to the ship and the time the, split the minerals amongst all the players. the isk in the fare end is the value of the minerals that the player will recieve, or you can use it to pay the player instead of giving them the minerals.
in short: 1. When OP starts set the Mining start time (G24-i24) and for each player. 2. If some one stop or take a break, modify the "Mining/player end time" (g25-i25), and select the time from the drop down menu on that player (break 1-5). 3. when mining op ends set the end time, and select the time from the drop down menu on each attending player. 4. refine the ore and enter the amount of minerals in (R24-r31)
I hope it makes sence, it is kinda hard to explain without pictures, i will try to compleat some of the manuel and upload it asap. ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

Hi.
Great sheet. I want to explore it, but am having a problem importing my API data.
When I enter my details, API and username, everything is fine. When I select my character and click update it seems to crash my Excel 2007. I can still change data and select worksheet tabs but all other Excel functions are frozen. I can't save, change Excel tabs (view, etc) click the office button. I can't even resize Excel.
Anybody else have problems like that? I run Vista 32bit with Office 2007 ---------------------------- -It's a big rock. Can't wait to tell my friends. They don't have a rock this big. |
