I'm going to post this in as many sub topics on the forums as possible.
This is directly to the devs at CCP: First off, I don't know what in world is happening but this crap has got to stop with the servers crashing for three hours every night, or huge desynch happening when large gangs are engaged with only handful of hostile ships. Is this your answer to lag, desynch? I read the next rev patch notes and noticed a little thing about memory leakage and EVE crashing, don't you think it would be smarter to release that patch early so to try and get these problems fixed? I know I/we are not the only ones having problems with desynch, our friends, and enemies are also having the same problem. This needs to stop, and NOW! Otherwise, I would suggest to all pilots in EVE that if they die, and others in their gang desynch after them, that those pilots who died converge on sending huge amounts of petitions to the deves and flood them with complaints to not only request their ships back but to also petittion the desynch!
This is not a hostile thread, and therefore should not be deleted by any moderator, and fyi this is a general discussion topic also

And if you read my whole statment, I asked why CCP hadn't released the patch early because of these issues...

i did read it... but i dont have the answer
i would think its because of staff, planning and giving notice to the players....
but thats just a guess
EDIT: the devs are monitoring the thread i linked above, it may be worth you asking in there

Deckard's right tbh. It takes time to see what exactly causes it and then implementing several fixes on SISI to test if they actually work. As stated in the patch notes, this desynch fix is expermental and isn't 100% assured to work.

A problem as big as this, CCP shoud not just cordially thrust it aside, and say "Tuesday" for patch because of the notice to players, this should have been taken care as soon as CCP knew it was a problem. I certainly hope CCP when problems first arise, think about the potential long term effects on the game, instead of just saying 'meh'...

A problem as big as this, CCP shoud not just corgily thrust it aside, and say "Tuesday" for patch because of the notice to players, this should have been taken care as soon as CCP knew it was a problem. Chances are, if they rush out the patch as soon as it 'seems' ready, they'll run into unexpected problems that could have been avoided by planning ahead ergo the Tuesday deployment. Think!

And like CCP hasn't done immediate patches before??? If I remember right, unless I'm developing alzheimers, desynch has been an issue for quite some time...is it not better to have desynch fixed and maybe have your portrait picture not load??

maybe the dev are betting on the number of whines before the patch goes live?
I mean hell, if they released the patch right away what would they get to bet on?
by the way I think it's just because people are still on vacation and are just getting back, so they need people in case of 10,000 bugs form CHANGING the CODE of the CLIENT. ----------------------------------- I'm working my way through college target CCP |

You act as if these issues can be solved in a couple of hours or a week or something. They can't. I've seen problems, not with EVE, but they've taken more than a month to knock on the head. Solved with a constant effort to solve it, amid several whingbags screaming "What's being done about it??????????".
