I presume that Mobile Warp disruptors, Elite Frigates and player controlled stations are in this patch ?
CCP stated in the last chat that they would be introduced 'before the end of January'. Today is the 28th. If these items are not in today's patch, is there to be another patch prior to the conclusion of January ?
What is the truth of the matter ?

Did they say which January?
I'm sure we will have elite frigates by the end of January 2008.

I believe not, they didn't yet say it wouldn't make it before the end of January, but it won't surprise me if they meant end of Janaury 2005.

CCP lied again.
Have you ever developed, released and maintained a Massively Multiplayer game? Do you have any idea how much work it takes to keep it running and to implement updates that will work on the majority of systems/connections?
It's a case of deadlines, and if CCP deem something more important to implement than Elite Frigates, then so be it. Just because you want all the latest toys now doesn't mean CCP should run to your every beck and call.
It's a case of being patient and let the game run its course...otherwise it would have burnt out a long time ago.

Dash, the fact that developing, producing and maintaining a MMOG is difficult, time consuming and by it's very nature involves unpredictable delays is no excuse.
The issue at play here is managing customers expectations and communicating to them. If CCP just published a release schedule looking a couple of months ahead, made realistic deadlines to allow for adequate testing and then posted messages in the forum as soon as something slipped to keep their customers up to date then we would have far less of this *****ing about content release.
All they have to do is improve communications, then a lot of this discontent will go away.

That may be so, however, to constantly release false dates to the paying public is nothing more than a public relations disaster.
Once is fair enough. Twice, pushing it. 653.5 times is just plain stupid.
I love this game, but I don't love false promises.
I also work at a games company and when we say we will release our game, it is done, on time (barring major international crisis).
So don't come the "it's not CCP's fault" line.
CCP make the deadlines. If they can't stick to them, they shouldn't make them so tough.

... Dunno if they are actually included (server still down) but if you manage to log on Chaos, check the market. Uncheck 'show only active' option and browse to ship section. :s

Its always an 'I want more!!' that drives these sort of posts.
I agree that telling us about something coming out on a date is not the best idea. But with the amount of people on here asking for more more more!! is it no wonder they put out possible dates to try and stem the tide.
Are there that many of you who only play the game to see the next big thing come out that you are never satified with just enjoying what you already have?

Actually, It was Mobile disruptors, and mobile refineries that were supposed to be out before the end of january. And the end of january hasnt come yet, so why do we whine and ***** about something that hasnt not happened yet. As i recalled it elite frigs/player controlled stations would be added when ready. Besides there are still a few days left in January.

Hey Sherlock, the point is they promise stuff "within 2 weeks", "at the end of january", but never deliever. They should stop making promises they KNOW they can't keep.

they keep making dates because you keep demanding them and fume even more when they say "soon".
There *is* a storyline in EVE, and a grand plan for the release of this that and the other. Stop complaining about what you haven't got and start enjoying what you have.
You're probably not going to see these really big items for ages yet considering you'll need to invest time in research agents or stockpile huge amounts of wealth or something...

I just wish CCP would give us the REAL due date.
If it is 2 months from now, so be it. It gets tedious to always be told 'soon', or '2 weeks'.

That's pretty funny.
Maybe they will release them as an expansion pack, which will cost money. You want stuff, you gonna have to pay MORE for it.
After all, it usually takes about a year for an MMOG company to realize that its original project estimates were WAY too optimistic, and that they underestimated the work it will take to maintain the game, have some customer support, squash bugs AND add new features.
I don't see CCP as being any different, so far. They try to do everything with a limited set of resources, same as everybody out there. Whining about it won't change anything.
Maybe we'll have to pay money for an expansion soon, that actually has the features we were promised 1-2 years ago. I would not be surprised at all. It's the norm in the industry.

The following items are now in the market (but not the show active part).
Interceptor Skill (Requires Evasive 5) Small (insert weapon type) specialization skill (requires small weapon 4)
2 Interceptors for each race (frigate 5, interceptor 1)
Small weapon IIs (require small spec skill, small weapon 4)
I havent checked for cloaking devices, tracking modules, anchorables, etc yet. So can we STFU about them not meeting the deadline.

I see Interceptors as a skill under Spaceship Command (when the "Show Active Only" is unticked).
But not ones per race.
Nor the other skills?
Where are you seeing them?

Small spec i was mistaken on being in the column. But if u look under ships with active items only unchecked u see an interceptor tab with ! 2 interceptors per race. Stats and everything.
