Concord fleet spawn in 0.0? Looks like someone was testing something on the live server .
You must understand that anyone asking you to give money to get money is scamming you one way or another. |

Neato!
I can't say I've ever seen a CONCORD spawn in 0.0 before, are they actually legitimate targets at that point?
Either way, still pretty cool. ===== Space-Ninjas are mammals too. |

Ya, I'm curious to hear if they're actually a legitimate target since they're in 0.0 and I know you're not supposed to kill them (if you even live long enough to kill one) in empire.
From a storyline perspective, I think CONCORD isn't supposed to go into 0.0 or they're violating orders. Might be part of the whole Faction Warfare thing taking off though. ===== Space-Ninjas are mammals too. |

It's a mission spawn, and mission spawns often have named NPCs. Doesn't make them "officer type".

they've been there for a few months now. They drop rubbish but it will give you better standings with the local agents in curse.

So the goons are bribing CONCORD. That explains it.

could possibly be a NPC event? i remember a long time ago, while guarding a system to erect an outpost, we ran into a huge group of NPCs (not concord, maybe angels) that where guarding an egg or something similar.
as i remember it our fleet decimated the npc fleet, which was fairly large, then popped whatever it was they were trying to construct.
i imagine if an event like that happens with angels then concord can do it, too.

Man if I knew for certain Concord spawned in certain places I'd camp the area day in and day out for a week. They ruin all my fun in empire.

Looks like Lvl 4 The Blockade (DED version) that all pirate factions offers. There's army colonels and generals. Lots of them.

Yeah while flying in Querious yesterday I warped to a planet and got a quick "You are trespassing...etc." message, which surprised me quite a bit. When I arrived there was a large Khanid spawn there with about 8 BS. They were about 130km from my interceptor and didn't attempt to engage.
Same deal I guess.

Out of curiosity, do these CONCORD ships drop anything valuable?

IIRC they're no better or worse than any other faction's lvl 4 drops.

What Josh just said, its been there long time. I accidently found them there last year when running from a hostile. I got my gang to the spot fifteen minutes later and we popped them all.
The only thing that dropped was a concord commander tag but what it's used for I have no idea.
