Place your vote for the best looking ship in the game.
My vote goes to the Thorax, especially now that the textures have been fixed. It simply looks amazing, the design is befitting of the EVE atmosphere.

Battleships: Typhoon or Tempest, then Raven and Arma.
Cruiser: Hmm, maybe Blackbird or Omen.
Indy: Mammoth
Frigate: Haven't seen all of them, but maybe Punisher or Griffin.
*edit* oh well, the Jove battleship, the Eidolon rocks.
And the Sansha battleship... OMG, eyecandy! Wish I could pilot one of them.

Minmatar ships are good looking cause they are looking practical, wich apeals to me, not the fancy coper plating like the vexor / amarr ships have.
Gallente shuttle also looks damn sweet :)
Over winner of Best looking ship is imo the Rupture, it looks so solid :)

Most ships have really nice silhouettes, though being experienced with real-time model creation I can't help but twitch a bit when I zoom in and notice the ... interesting ... meshwork of most ships. 
However there is one mesh I can't really complain about: The Heron. It's a shame they waste it on such a useless ship.

raven looks so graceful in flight, although it lacks the texture of gallente ships its my winner for best looker,
most agressive looking ship would have to be the rifter

Battleship: Apocalypse, it's big, it's mean, it's gorgeous, Close runner up is the Megathron.
Cruiser: Gotta say the Caracal.
Frigate: Slasher, looks like a little mosquito.
Industrial: Wreathe, but they're all ugly as sin anyway.

I can't beleive noone like the tristan, It is the best looking frigate in game.

I like the Minmatar design (one of the reasons for choosing this rase) the Temptest is beautiful. Prefer the genuine look of rusty metal over the poliched and shiny.
Also I like the fact that they put the motherboard on a big sail ontop of the ship.. must be for the coolingfactor

Well, if you take in concideration,
the design versus vulnerability - i would
say that the Domonix has the best design
for a battleship.
Why  , no weak spots.
Armageddon = Concentrate fire on the "tower".
Apoc = Concentrate fire on the "weak part".
Raven = Focus fire on the "tower".
Scorp = Focus fire on the "string" in the back.
Mega-T = Focus on the "tower".
Domonix is the only battleship who has not
so called "weak spots" for focused fire".
If it were RL-fire, a barage of missiles in
the back of the scorp woul seperate it
into 2 useless shipwrecks.
The Raven would be an easy target after youŠve
picked out the 2 "control towers".
My choise in a fight, design-wise = Dominix.

Battleship: The Tempest and the Arma. They both look great and when you put them togather they really look like they want to fight.
Cruiser: Moa. so misshapen and ugly that it has to be a totally functional design. This ship screams power like no other.
Frigate: Kestrel. great shape and no turrets to mess up the lines.
Indy: Mammoth. looks like a well used freight ship.
