Lol but why would anyone sell a Megathron for 25mil as opposed to have it destroyed ?
1. Even with the most basic insurance you'd get more than that if you just self destructed that.
2. I'd personally go out fighting. Against a few SI alone it probably aint gonna turn out too clever but against Triniton he'd probably run as soon as you launched FOF's

1. He probably didnt have basic insurance. Plus if he had implants he'd lose them aswell, and you cant insure those.
2. It wouldnt really be a fight, because we take you down to 10-0% armor before we actually ask for money. So we'd have all our guns aimed right at you incase anything went wrong.
But ofcourse, if you think that insurance is a better deal than paying, we understand that. Its just business after all

Yeah, I would say that I would rather take the pod ride home and have the insurance then have you buy out. I wouldnt want to end up here on the forums looking like a dumb a55. oh wait too late

Eject from ship - right click ship - Self destruct - Warp away in pod
All can be done in a second and the pirates would have to be super alert to see you eject and warp away.
I've used this technique for alt-clone-jumping, can't see why this shouldn't work for a battleship that is locked down either.

The only question i want to know is where are all these nice rats at??? Ive been podded like 5 or 6 times and only once been given the chance to pay a toll. Hell I would pay a toll if given the chance but hell no I just get my ship shot out from under me and then pod killed to boot.

theres a couple of reason why ejecting and warpinf wont work. but im not gonna tell you cos i dont wanna give away the ebil pirates game plan

Yes you're right, we only catch the afk, semi-afk, lazy, stupid and greedy people. If you are aware of your surroundings and the fact that "killing one more npc", "getting a few more units of [insertore]" or "getting to empire space before downtime" isnt worth your ship/pod, we probably will never catch you. Trusting your signature radius, drones, microwarpdrive(s) and your corpmates that are "only a few jumps away" are also reasons for our wallets to flash with happiness.
