Janus Drake flys the Leviathan and the other AAA I think is a Ragnorak. Does Hegemon have his own still or is it now Shrikes?

The cap bonus is useful to all races, a shield bonus of the lethiathan for example is useless to at least 2/3rds of possible combat ships.

I don't think Hegemon has his titan anymore. Though BoB will doubtlessly deny that Shrike took it, it's pretty obvious that's what happened. Unless they want us to believe that they have spare, unflown titans lying around, which would be a massive waste of resources.

Probably because of the benefit of the cap bonus for other capital ships in the fleet (dreads sieging, etc).

Rumors of more; Plentiful but unlikely to be true.
Funniest one so far was when C4w3 tricked Seleene into thinking he had a titan and was going to jump it into a fight in the north, cost Seleene and pets 5 carriers when it failed to materialize

Do people actually field a Titan for that purpose? I thought Titans were just deployed to DD and leave ASAP. Do they actually leave titan in fleet situations where that cap might actually be useful?

Hasn't been the case for a while.
Titans aren't seen in combat as much lately because DDing can leave them vulnerable, so they're not very useful unless your side already controls the battlefield.
The jump bridge is obviously very useful for logistics, and the cap bonus is useful even if the titan POS-hugs all day.

The good questions to ask now would be: "Are any new titans going to be built now that they have become more vulnerable? Is it even worth the effort and risk now?"
I see them of more a "hey, look we got some isk to burn, we either were going to get a fleet of CNR or a Titan."
Why are you still reading? Its over. Continue to the next post.

Given that reasoning, I hope you don't fly anything larger than noobships, as infinite noobships > 7,000 frigs > 600 cruisers > dozens of BS > one dreadnought.
The reality, of course, is that pilots are way more important than ships.

Technically yes, however the price of battleships and dreadnoughts are small enough to allow people to easily construct both.
Titan VS anything else will easily be won by anything else, whether its 25 dreads or 500 battleships. Just look at how many times doomsday weapons have been used successfully since the titan nerf
Same applies to moms for that matter, while stylish it in no way out performs the 10 fully fitted carriers you could build instead.
Supercaps need luvin'.
Originally by: Kyguard Titans as logistical tools are priceless, I hope you're kidding..
I was talking about the combat side of things but yes, titans where quite useful for logistics, while somewhat less now that everyone can deploy jump bridges the titans only advantage in the logistics field is that its mobile and can setup jump bridges anywhere rather then having to wait for sov to reach level 3. -----

Originally by: Velios I recently sold an Avatar BPC to an unknown buyer, so there will be a new one on the block soon no doubt.
Exciting!
No wait, too funny, Im sure in your auction thread u posted who it was. Or was that changed because u realised that PLAYER/CORP/ALLIANCE X who bought it was/were annoyed?
I respect M. Corp alot for there contribution and awakening of the bpo/bpc market throught eve's duration, but i thought disclosing that information in that thread, unless of course PLAYER/CORP/ALLIANCE X had said it was ok to do so (in which case my post is completely usless), was the greatest mistake i've seen M. Corp make
