Someone asked for an unbiased battle-report. I'll do my best!
From my POV . . .
The Request:
MPIRE and Fatal were asked by MC to assist in the removing of IAAAC. Since MC helped in taking over Branch we felt we should return the favor and aid our former gang-mates.
The Leak:
Fatal spy shows his true colors and hatred towards Fatal. This spy went above and beyond any spy-work I have seen in the past within Eve. He posted direct screen-shots from the Fatal Forums annoucing the road-trip to the south days in advance.
The Move:
MPIRE, Fatal and MC performed the needed logistics for the MPIRE and Fatal fleets to assist in the South. No sooner had the MPIRE/Fatal gang completed the move South does RzR/MM/and co. move on BKG. This was a sound tactical strike that could have done alot more damage. I'd like to add at this point that previously MM had come to MPIRE and Fatal leadership stating they wanted no part in the station warfare. If we didn't move on MM station systems other than roaming gangs, they would do the same. We honored our side ... MM went back on theirs.
The Strike:
RzR/MM/Co. destroy the Cyno Jammer and bring in very few Caps but enough to do the job. The number (including support) reported was approximately 300-325. (<- please correct if wrong). 3-4 MPIRE POS were put into reinforced and 8 hostile POS were anchored from the various alliances.
The Return:
MPIRE makes the call to return home to defend it's space with the aid of Fallen Souls and CoW. The return is rewarding. The assualt on BKG was put to a stop for the day with minimal losses on either side. (not much fighting). During the night MPIRE/FS gangs got the BKG Station Services back online and repaired some POS modules. Also, the gangs did some anti-POS work on the hostile POS in system putting several guns and a few modules into the "Incapacitated" state. Very little fighting occured during the night while I was on.
The Summary:
MPIRE/Fatal move South to aid MC. RzR/MM/Co. move on BKG in a tactical strike and do some damage. MPIRE returns home and with the aid of FS/CoW/(and some Fatal, yay) and stop the attack for the night. Neither side took heavy losses as of yet. _______________________________
My personal views. RzR/MM/Co. took the time when M. was at it's lowest and made a move on the station. This move was not extremely organized and did not go as well as intended (I'm sure). Had M. been home, I doubt the strike would have been made. While I do not agree with this tactic, I must say that it was expected and was a smart move and if nothing else, aided IAAAC which may have been the intent all along. We will see what the coming days have for us all!

There's nothing wrong with what Razor/MM/Pure/co. did
Afterall, They are still ALLIED to the Southern Coalition.
If they just stoodby and watched their allies in the South get beaten up, then that would be dishonorable for them.
By attacking the Northern Pets, they are assisting IAAAC. The enemy of your enemy is your friend.

It's you BoB Pets who thought that it was Ok to leave your homes when your enemy was right beside.

You'll probably not find any directors/ceos of Mpire/Fatal crying about Razor and co having a go at the station systems.. Just the few clueless folks on each side.. **** talking..
We knew this was coming after the CAOD thread with the screenshots of "proof" Maybe in the future we can return the favor

BoB have abandoned Omist/Feyth to throw everything into a front they think they can win. While they don't have an actual presence in the North or Southeast, their enemies taking the regions back is what they don't want, which explains the alt posters on CAOD full of bluster and veiled threats.
Originally by: Ohmi Sohaawny Do these groups not expect those being helped currently by the owners of the area to come back and make good on a favor delivered? With the recent discovery of the MC titan I highly doubt it would be a good isk sink to move in at such a time as the present.
While I applaud the PVP in the area, I find it odd to go into POS warfare for system control.

I thought the whole razor and buddies VS FATAL and buddies thing in the north had turned into a big non-pos war snuggle fest of roaming gangs and no serious wars????.
Pretty much -- have a read of this post from someone in MM from about a week ago for a pretty accurate and unbiased view of things. However, if your unfriendly neighbours happen to go and grab some sun, sea and sex in the south and leave the front door unlocked, you'd be nothing short of a saint if you didn't stick your boot in and mess things up a little.
Have to admit that this isn't a surprise. Basically, RAZOR and friends have done exactly what we expected them to do (except with maybe a few more losses on their side -- including losing a pod to a POS ).
Cheers, Arrs
Well, it shouldn't be forgotten that there has always been a greater war going on in EVE and you guys are on one side and we are on another. If your pursuit of "sun. sea and and sex in the south" has you directly contributing to one side of the war effort, then we, of course, are duty-bound to do something about it. I don't recall any of us having made statements about having withdrawn from the "The War" and a restting of standings.
While you remained out of the fight, we were happy to leave things as they were for the time being. You joined the fight, now we're trying to make you pay in some way for that decision. Had we chosen to go south, we assume your bloc would be doing the same thing. What would be different is that we wouldn't be on these forums smacking and calling you lame cowards.
Our options were limited to watch and do nothing, go south and add to the super-blob or attack BKG and see if we can't disrupt your operations in the south to a degree.
You knew it was coming...we knew that you knew. We knew that you knew that we knew that you knew that it was coming (LOL). It's a simple and obvious move. What remains now is the actual fighting. It most definitely remains to be seen if our actions will have the desired affect. It's not a foregone conclusion. This is why we have to play the game and not just post on forums.
I've seen people actually call our actions dishonorable. That's just silly, in my view. It's like everything they do is sweetness and light. Everything we do is lame and dishonorable. In effect, we're all doing the same things. You can't say you only want good fights, and then go join some gang-bang super-blob in Querious and not expect your enemies to react.
We are absolutely not afraid to fight you people..whether you are home or not. So please quit kidding yourselves and trying to prop yourselves up by saying we wouldn't attack you if you were home. We most certainly would if that contributed to our current strategy. It's that simple.

Ironically BoB did this same thing in the past, attack POSes and capture stations when G/IRON were in the south, only that time BoB started losing horribly when G/IRON came back, BoB pulls out and call it a "road trip." Guys it's okay MM/RZR are just taking a "road trip" in BKG.

EDIT: PS: I hope with this unbiased report the stupid smacktalk will cease. Also, if RzR/MM/Co. directorship will review this report and make corrections in an unbiased battle-report of your own it will be much appreciated.
The bolded part is incorrect. Completely incorrect.
We did not go to M.Pire/Fatal for such an agreement. I stated in these fora on m,any ocassions that we weren't necessarily interested in POS warfare under the current server conditions. As long as actions by you guys didn't force us to have to engage in one, we probably wouldn't.
I was approached by leadership from your bloc asking whether or not we would be interested in a formal agreement--- in effect, a "red NAP" where we remain red and fight each other but we do not engage in POS warfare. This proposal was discussed among the leadership in our bloc over the course of a week. I then contacted the diplomat/leader from your bloc and told him that we would decline at this time to engage in any formal agreement. I mentioned that MM had no current plans to engage in territorial conquest and that was true given the situation that was present at that time. You were not direct participants in the south, we were not direct participants in the south. You chose to change that, the situation changed and thus our strategic options evolved.
There was no agreement. Morsus Mihi went back on nothing. I trust your comments are just based upon ignorance of the facts, rather than some attempt to slander Morsus Mihi. MM doesn't make agreements of this nature and magnitude and then go back on them. It simply doesn't. The moment it did, you would see me leave it.

As expected, It seems that only when we traversed the entire EVE Universe on a mission to the South to assist MC did the likes of RZR & a whole bunch of other cling-on alliances actually get the courage to attack BKG, an empty system.
Even in our absence, our POS managed to kill over 20 of their battleships.
Our display of honour and duty to our friends in the South has been met with a cowardly, spineless and pitiful display by RZR & Co in the North.
We will be back soon, and when we do get back it will be interesting to see who among the rag-tag opportunistic cowards has the stomach to fight MPIRE & F4T4L face to face.
