The But Report system obviously has a pretty large chance of being ignored, posting on the forums at least gets it some attention

It's been bugreported endless times by a bajilion people.
It's reproducible in 100% of the cases.
It's still not freking fixed.

Thanks for the response, Casqade, now please humour us and appreciate that sometimes the forums aren't the first place we go, as the poster above has quite rightly noted, this HAS been bug reported, it IS reproduceable in 100% of cases, it has been around for more than one patch now, ergo my question is...
Why hasn't it been fixed yet?

I'm a bit lost here Dianabolic.
My understanding of the roles "Can Take Containers From Division n Hangar" is so you can grant people view access to a hangar, but not take anything from it. But still allow them to take stuff from containers in that hangar.
I always thought that "Containers Can Take" meant that they can take the contents out of a container, not the container itself.

No, the role "can take" allows you to take the CAN from the hanger. Without it take access to the hanger only lets you take things not in cans, and prior to it being broken, allowed you to remove unlocked items from cans in that hanger.

So thats what Dianabolic meant 
CCP this is a serious security breach 
Different cans can have different passwords allowing for different groups to remove stuff from those different cans.
Now everyone can now simply remove ALL the cans and wait for their "audit logs" to expire, after which they can simply repackage them to get the contents, they are now, indeed, completely useless as a means of controlling access to corporate assets.

Oh, by the way, I don't even see mentioned the fact that each and every container has to be INDIVIDUALLY configured by each one putting stuff into it.
If I configure a certain container as "default unlocked" without a password, everybody else must first get the config password AND set the container to "default unlocked", or else they auto-add all items locked.
Annoying too.

I'd suggest not only to fix, but also to improve it.
Mean, if I have "hangar query" right, I'd be able to take from cans, where item is not locked, but not from hangar itself.
Also, cans are real badass currently as far as You can't inspect them remotely and shold either
1. fly to that hangar and inspect cans in person.
2. Keep an alt in each office (damn stupid idea but I can't see any other way)
3. Don't use cans at all (my actual choice)

That's fine, if there are improvements in the pipeline, but why break it in the meantime? Makes 0 sense.
Still not fixed! I love spending my time handling corp member's requests for t1 ammo or basic named whatevers.
Its my favourite.
