"I've seen your forum post - But prefer to settle it ingame and not on forum.
Currently theres more than 250 individual bets made - and a number of those are "buggered up".
If I "fix" your bets, I'll be obliged to fix everyone elses as well - A task I simply dont want to have to deal with - Hence the stipulation that wrongly entered bets will be treated as donations.
I even took the time to scan through my wallet export to find your entries - You infact entered it wrong both times....
It sucks I know... But it would suck even more for me having to fix everyones mistakes.
You do however get 10K BIG Lottery tickets, as thats what the payment defaults to when the text is "buggered up"."
The Story...
I placed a small 100mil bet on Terra Incognita to win the tournament. This was done to have some fun, but in my haste I incorrectly spelled some words or incorrectly entered something, but I sent BIG GAMES and TornSoul apologising for my mistakes and explaining my bet. They replied with the text at the top. In essence they will not put my money into the betting pool, and will not return it. They have stolen my ISK. I know its a very small sum but it is something has made me a little upset.
To Big, after the tournament I will get my money back with SEVERE interest. Have a nice day.

Its sucks for sure. She did warn to be careful placing the bet correctly but she should take the time to fix it. You did place a rather large bet and he/she should adjust it or it will do nothing but hurt his/her rep. Sorry for the loss.

you screwed up and despite all their warnings you STILL want them to fix it for you?
tough nuts, next time read the fine print, no one would fix YOUR mistakes for you anywhere else either

i just wanted to point out that 100 mil arent a small sum. its suficient money to kill a load of stuff exceeding the 100million isk mark by far.

BIG has always maintained that if you make an error they will not fix it,
-YOU are responsible for getting it right
-YOU are responsible for double checking your work
-NOWHERE in the world, either real or game, will reimburse you for YOUR mistakes, as per their own rules they provided you with lottery tickets as compensation, and yet you still whine like a 5 year old

DHB quick question arent BIG simply alts anyway, they use otehr characters to do their hauling etc, i guess if u could find the golden goose cahracters u will do ok. Keep us informed i always like to see what BE are up to and their stories

Just looked it up, here are their conditions:

So it's a bit harsh conditions but you accepted them by transfering the funds, you failed to submit your bet correctly so you will be treated like it's written in the conditions that you accepted. Where's the scam ?
Before you do anything better wait and see if your team wins, if it loses anyways there is no need to do something.
And next time call the things by name, scam is something diffrent

Sounds like scammy T&C to me but hey in Eve you get to disregard and replace them as you like.... So long as you have the force to back it up

This is eve, not real life. Since when do someone's reasons for a war need the sign of approval from us all ?
If someone has trouble with someone else and decides to solve it with guns, he's free to do so.
Ok, I'm selfish, I just want something to read, while I'm in a long warp or sitting at a camp, pos and such and a new conflict is good for that.
