I wonder if you could give me some "advanced advice": -suppose i have several files (fraps or .mkv) that i want to string into one. How could i do that? Is it possible to have audio from different files in different parts of the video? Thanks in advance.

Ok good to know. And thanks for the answer. The reason i asked was because i'm using the program SUPER to convert my movies since the AutoEncoder doesn't work for me because of the audio bug. And SUPER doesn't support to encode to mkv format, so i have to use mp4 then. CCP, fix my forum portrait goddamnit.

It's worked great for me so far, and haven't had a single issue with it. It also downloads and installs all the apps it needs (like AviSynth, codecs and what not) which is just perfect. I installed Avisynth, the H.264 program and added in the input and output files, picked low speed, high Q., and clicked start encoding, 2 hours later and watched the last few frames to get done, it got done, and the output file never showed up. Any guesses what could of happened? Sort of a bummer waiting 2 hours and not getting anything. :P

I tried to use .wav's. autoencoder does his work, but when i open the *.mkv file, no music is playing, video shows fine. Any idea?

I even tried it again on Med. settings and it still doesn't give one after encoding. It doesn't even show up in the AutoEncoder directory. The only file that shows up there is the temp files, but those aren't it.

It means that encoding to a low-quality WMV and then going to H.264 is like ripping to 64kbps MP3 and then trying to make high quality files from that. MrLobster Clawstrawphonebeer	Posted - 2008.05.15 22:59:00 - [209] I currently use premier pro cs3, Core 2 Duo, 4 GB's Ram, Vista x64, 8800 GTS 320mb. The movie uses up to 3 layers at anyone time. I export using the settings, File Type: Microsoft AVI Compresser: None, Millions of Colors. (Correct or not?) I do a quick view of the video, but at 49 GB its a bit choppy (7 minutes). Then use DS Encoder with the GUI. When all complete, I view the finished mkv video. Alls fine until it hits the first section with 3 layers, all goes black and stays black for the rest of the movie. I only get about 7 seconds of video, but the music is still playing. I'm hoping its something to do with the export from premier (even if it shows ok in any player). _________________________
