So, you ask yourself. " I'm outnumbered, do I retreat and save all of my assets and use them again on another day effectively? "
A few things cross your mind.
1.) If I retreat, my ego is crushed.
2.) I could take a few of them with me.
3.) I do have a full set of Expanded Cargoholds ( Tech II, even. )
3.) I need another shot of Vodka.
Amid this confusion, most of us just run. No one knows a secret weapon lies within their hearts, their minds, and that near empty bottle of liquor.
The Honor Tank ( Also known as hounour, if you're British. )
You could run, making them feel like they won. Knowing that you fled because they are superior, and let them walk all over you, or, you stand your ground.
If you choose to be one of the few, the proud, " The Honor Tanker, " then read on.
The first step is assessing the situation.

Forget it, it doesn't matter, you're going down in a blaze of glory like King Leonidas.
At this point, you should be fielding your most expensive ship, because YOU my friend, don't take Sh!t from anyone. You're the biggest, baddest, Mother F*cker in the valley.
When you come into battle, you warp to zero on the biggest one of those C*cksucke*s, it's time to show them who's boss. Make sure in local you start ranting.
Say things like " My alliance is coming with thousands of ships to defend my honor, to the last man, to the last capacitor notch. "
You want to get as much hesitation out of them as possible. This will ensure you get the most shots off, proving, no matter what or who they are, you will still deal damage.
Sure, they will repair it and shrug it off. But, in the back of their mind they know. You just keep coming.
Make sure you constantly bump their ship showing them you mean business. Approach them at full speed and head butt them like a Viking Warlord in the heat of victory.
Things to Consider:

Tactics:
You don't care anymore, you're a machine on a war path, you don't feel pain, nor fear.

Then grab that bottle of liquor, take the biggest gulp and pour some on your chest. This is WAR.

Teach him that you're not just that "average school boy" you're a proud warrior and are defending your honor.
Let him know those cargo expanders are for the mass "corpses" you will soon fill them with in your strike-of-genocide.
Those aren't just ANY Expanded Cargoholds, those are TECH IIs MOTHERFU*KER.
Now, you take your pod, your 2 billion dollar implants, and you ram that ship.
Beat your chest like a rampant ape and let those instincts out. You don't care about anything, f*ck it, pour all of that vodka on your head, your keyboard, everywhere.

Yes, it does. This is a thread about corporation tactics for gate camps, large engagements, among other things. This is about how to respond if a corporation or alliance is blobbing you. It also tells one how to successfully operate an "honor tanked" ship.

Not quite, see the difference here is that you arent argueing a specific allaince, which after all is the whole point of this forum, as such this thread belongs in the ships and mods forums because you are discussing ship setups.
