I didnt catch the Sense of this announcement but will add some of my thoughts.
I begin with a short rewiew. My Corp was one of the last joined D2 and one of the last who was fighting. In the last weeks moral was alrdy down some Corps left due to internal problems and much of the Force of D2 simple didnt come to the fights. When D2 began to lose Space cause of the many hostiles send from Bobspace it was tried to get more people to fight and it worked for some days we gathered a medsized fleet and put some Pos into reinforced. One or two days later the the hostile fleet was much bigger aggain (dont remember the size exacly but it where 100+ Caps) and there where more waiting logged out somewhere. In Result the Bobforces did not win any Fleetbattles in Epic scale or killed dozends of Ms or something they just steamrolled the north with a force that could not be encountered and Mpire was Part of this. Remember too that it was with old Posmechanics there where no Cynojammers and such so it was lot easyer to take space that it would be today.
I dont know how M-pire can now complain abbout being blobbed remembering that, and even if you are bloobed now seems that all gathered people where not enough to take Bkg so it was necessary to bring numbers or do you think if lets say razor would have come alone you would have countered them with only half of your fleet?
You have taken this space as parts of the Allys which are controlled by bob (call it friends pets or like you want). Dont think the north forget this in 2 Months and you will become a liked resident here this will never happen you are Part of Bobforces and the only reason there are no 100 Caps to help you here if necesary is that they are forces are buysy in the south with Ragoon and AAA/IAC.
I not really like Trium but think they are a big force and their doing hat a great impact on who will win and who will loose space in the north atm they fight you ,so just life with it maybe next month they will be fighting razor or Youwhat if its fun for them..
Dont know what i want to tell after all but be sure that i see you (M.Pire,FS, Fatal,Youwhat) as part of Bobforces wich outblob everyone evrytime if this is necessary, only one time failed in the Fight for the capital Yard when Coalition lost 40 Caps but brought one time (ONLY ONE TIME) more people than bob could. So i think you are the biggest danger for eveuniverse and not Ragoon who will most likely split aggain if bob would be no more.
You are Enemys and this will not change and for our sake your Fleets are divied to 2 or 3 parts thanks to the lot Allys who risk in fighting Bob. The north is not your home and i hope it never will be.

Sir Molle stated on many ocasions that BoB's goal is to rule all of 0.0 space. Are only temporarily napping BoB untill they take all of 0.0 and then you'll set them to negative and fight them?
You guys come up with your dumbest reasons why you support BoB without even knowing why most are in this conflict.
If you support BoB, you support their goals, which is to contol all of 0.0, making all alliances living in 0.0 their pets. You are a pet, if not now, when BoB wins. You are fighting for a future of servitude. Congradulations!

If you contacted TRI leadership and said. "Hay we're having a fight tonight, should be a lot of capital kills" there is a chance TRI will say "great we're on our way, we'll set you blue for 24 hours!".
However as it looks like you were "given" your space (which I have no problems with at all) if you or Razor contacted us and said the same thing the chances are we will back Razor.
However looking at our Kb's we still have killed more MM capitals than you have, more RAZOR capitals than you have. So to say we are Allies of Razor is not quite right, we just back the winning horse on the hope of getting some kills and then back to neut standing and back to killing we go. As the OP warns we don't want blues all around us and having to got 20 jumps for a kill. We want you next door, don't care who is next door, just be there.
Its up to you (Fatal, MPire, COW et al) to stop us on the battle field, not on the forums. You know you can't win on the forums... No one can beat the TRI on the forums, each corp must have one troll, one flamer and one flamebait, its the only way into TRI.
Right here is an excellent reason that "TRI are blue today" is an absolute farce. TRI are laughing all the way to the killboard. Here is how it works:
1. TRI diplo contacts MM/RZR. "Blue for 24 hours?" "Okies!"
2. TRI kill stuff in mixed MM/RZR gangs.
3. Standings reset. TRI kill gangs heading north up the pipe to fight new northerners.
4. TRI pilots laugh at old northern values and check killboard.
The only winner in the "New North" right now is TRI. The losers are those that are on their KB. --

One thing that a few have mentioned is BKG/LXWN is not M. Pires home. Could have fooled me, we have sov... What constitutes home? Those who have lived there in the past or even first? No, its the owners as now. So as someone earlier said, wake up and smell the coffee :)

People seem to forget that TRI is a part of the Old North. The TRI founding corporations have been active in the North since the days of the NSA. TRI as an unofficial and official alliance has been fighting against alliances like IRON, RZR, D2, FLA, etc... for years, and they were there aswell as part of the Northern Coalition in Querious. During the time IRON and TRI got to work together in Querious, they were practically unstopable. They left the southern theather of war due to internal issues, afterall the alliance was founded as a pure pirate outfit, the transition to a territorial alliance involved in POS wars wasn't smooth (although they had tried to invade FLA space a few months earlier).
TRI is every bit part of the Old North, eventhough they were most of the time red to the rest of the North. So now we have TRI/RZR/MM retaking the north from the MC pets, the Old North, which was sometimes called a 'carebear napfest', against the New North, those LV splinter alliances and BoB pets that thought themselves being so nber for tagging along after MC when the north was being steamrolled.

Well, I know why we or at least I didn't support Goonswarm and Co. in the first place and why I didn't want to gain them more power.
The bandwaggon against BoB seemed quite huge compared to BoB's side and I surely didn't want to see that the balance of power shifts towards Goons&Co like I said.
On the other hand my relation to BoB was neutral/relaxed before the war. They stayed out of our business and we out of theirs. The only thing that we had in common was not really being friends of the Goons.
So yes, it's a difference, if you don't want to see BoB getting defeated by the bandwaggon and Redswarm gain power through it, or if you support BoB with their goal to control all of 0.0.
I cared about the problems that were imminent and not some end-goal of Sir Molle, a vision that was maybe in his head, but was far from becoming true, especially when everyone and his mother united against them.
And currently I still have other things in my mind than being afraid about BoB controlling all of 0.0. Does it look like it currently ? I think not. So no reason to panic and rather care about the problems that currently exist.
Or to say it in another way: What would be best for me ? Simple answer. BoB not controlling all of 0.0, but staying alive and strong enough that RSF doesn't become the dominating power. It's that easy for me.

Sadly due to some disorganisation on POS maintenance, Fallen Souls lost some pos's and were contesting a station system in under 48 hours. Whilst M. Pire and its allies fully backed Fallen Souls, I'm extremely sad to say we were unable to help them due to this. Fallen Souls have now began to move out of Northern Deklien and North West branch - a fact that really saddens me.
Its strange that on the night razor/tri and buddies attacked BKG you had a massive show of force but the attack on FS space by tri alone was met with nothing for days and then only a token force that was nowhere near the system being hit.
I guess you have differant levels of "Whilst M. Pire and its allies fully backed Fallen Souls" LOL depending on how close your alliance is to the individuals being attacked.
350+ BS heavy including capital support in BKG versus 110 or so BS light and with 0 capital support 8-10 jumps away from uej.
Is the "fully" in "fully backed" a polite way of saying "knifed in the".
Turtles never move far bud.
Although i suppose it answers why tri helped razor instead of mpire.

The OP was an interesting read and it was pleasant to note that there wasn't a great deal of bias exhibited. That's always refreshing.
I wish I had more time to give a fully considered response, but I just don't (RL intrudes). However, on behalf of Morsus Mihi, I would like to point out the following:
1. From our perspective, Triumvirate has nothing to fear from the "Old North" for the simple facts that we value their rivalry and have no designs on anything they own. Additionally, they have not been seen to substantially aid the GBC during this current "Great War."
2. While do value our new neighbors as sources of fun PvP, there is an underlying political issue (specifically the "Great War") which forces us to have to treat M.Pire a little more differently than we may like. Morsus Mihi has never officially withdrawn from this war. The politics that saw us enter on the side of The Coalition still exist. We make a lot of our decisions based upon those politics. We view M.Pire (while not specifically "pets") as participants on the side of the GBC given their activities during MC's campaign in The North as well as their potential to go South in attempts to directly influence the situation down there (which they proved they would do a few weeks ago). We assume that if we tried to do the same thing (affect the situation in the South), M.Pire and allies would do the same thing we did. These are the major reasons we feel we have to go further in our hostilities against M.Pire than we might have otherwise preferred.
3. Regardless of what occurs up here in the future, I personally do not see any return to the old "Northern NAPfest." I don't want to speak for other entities, but I think its safe to assume that some of the current agreements are born out of necessity with respect to the "Great War." It is reasonable to assume that some of these agreements will be discontinued once their mutual benefits are no longer required. Put simply, what bands many of us together in "The Coalition" isn't something that will out-live this war. Therefore, it is unreasonable to assume that once the necessity for blue standings passes, they will be retained.
That's all I have time for, unfortunately. I hope it helps clarify things.

What the north (M.Pire) needs to realize is that the conditions in the south have reached the point of "Total War".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_war
There will be a victor one way or another. Either BoB will lose completely or it will win completely. When one of these two things occur, the victors are going to prosecute those who did not stand with them with extreme prejudice. The south has already realized the price of not picking a side, which is why AAA begrudgingly moved itself to a pro-south position because as a true neutral they would be destroyed regardless of who won simply because they didn't fight.
The North is now moving into the same arrangement. M.Pire may claim to not be a BoB pet but in the end, they answered MC's call for help and that makes them pets. Which makes them GBC. -------------------------------------------------- FRIGATS Coalition FREGE-Red-IAC-Goon-AAA-Tau-Southerncross

That is not true. You are making assumptions you can't back up. The only alliance to state total control was BoB and every Alliance I was in just wanted their own space and to have enemies on either side so that we could get some PVP. -A- is neutral and shoots most of the alliances fighting BoB. We are here for the PVP, nothing more.

Tri doesn't want more space, they want enemies to fight with...why is everyone so friggen crazy about POS ops and taking space?!?! Tri want the PVP, thats it...plain and simple, they don't want more space, they just want PVP...which is why I lub them so much!!! On our next break from wars I hope we can come up there and see how the new Iron spawns look, hopefully they drop good loot!
Thanks Wesley but I think Neena Valdi still don`t understand, could you please repeat it 10 more times
Well , I will try to make it a bit clearer. Tri states that they want more targets * To the opposite they blob with the larger entity and having lesser targets. * They are aiding the larger blob to evict targets from their area wich Tri claims they want there.
One Tri member a few pages ago stated that Tri wanted to be with the winning horse. * Being a pure PvP alliance looking for the most targets the logic fails here. If it was only for the good pew-pew and no POS war, Tri would have been the "third" wave of enemys on the battlefield.
IMHO why Tri are getting a bit slapped on here is that instead of looking like the bad l33t p0wnsors of PvP, you look more like killmail-whaores, avoiding the hard fights and conflicts, and jumps on the bandwagon to get the leftovers of others work. Hence the Napping on and off, ofc there is no problem setting RZR/MM red when they just took a heavy beating in M.Pire/Fatal/COW Space. Easy kills are kills to, but claiming beeing a mean ebil PvP warmachine, when the outcome is the opposite, just another bandwagon killßlot swarm, the words just fall down dead.

M.Pire leadership felt they were in a position to threaten an upcoming Tri outpost without repercussions *before* the BKG attack. Until such time, as far as I am aware, we (Tri) were not even certain we would get involved. M.Pire made the choice for us.
Now, this is second hand info for me, as I wasnt convo'd directly, but it went something along the lines of: M.Pire: We think MM/RZR are going to attack us, and we know about your baby outpost. If you help MM youll regret it. Tri: O RLY!?
Everyone knows how the rest went.
