If you are a trader, industrial, mission runner, explorer, (former)Incursion runner, any kind of PVPer who doesn't fund himself trough suicide ganking or endless lowsec gatecamps... unsub now to make EVE better.
How?
Well you see. EVE with its "there is no griefing" GM policies has attracted most vile and disgusting gathering of would-be sociopaths with self esteem issues ever seen in any online game.
And you support them. 80% of EVE population is highsec. It is you who pay CCPs bills; but it is highsec griefers and 00 important internet spaceships tyrants and dictators who get all the CCPs love and attentions. (Lowsec is completely and might as well not be there).
Thanks to PLEX market worthless lowlifes can play game you pay for, for free, with isk from loot from your ships. If you were a fool who attempted to run missions or exploration in lowsec and got ganked, you are helping the pay for their game. If you are "honest" PVPer who has no time to grind and buy PLEXes for resell; your money goes to CCP to pay for their game time.
In theory, as long as there is sufficient population of victims the freeloading griefers can continue to exist. But in real world; when couple dozen thousand people unsub with sole reason "game is designed to favor griefers, do you think I'm mad to continue to pay for it" someone in Reykjavik will have to stop and think.
For ten million trolls that will leech to this thread. Thin fine line between "allowing non consensual PVP" and "there isn't nearly anything in game that is actually considered griefing and punished" is light years thick.
Yes this is Incursion whine thread. But much more than that its "why do I pay money to CCP to provide game for legions of arrogant sick fucks". And "EVE is fine game, but among its players are most of the worst human beings you can possibly encounter on internet".
I think /b has more soul and humanity in it than C&P denizens. |

OP, as an industrialist.....have you ever realized that EVERYTHING...all caps because I mean it....EVERYTHING we industrialists build and sell is related to warfare and ganking?
Without those sociopaths there would be no market for you and all your ambitions would be pointless.

Try finding that kind of rush in "Game of the Year" Rift, or WoW, or SWTOR. |

Five times I resubed. Now it will be 6th time I unsub. Hopefully the last.
And every single time it was same reason. Reading these brown colored forums. Knowing that game is designed so that griefers win always and are always the favored side. And that CCP likes it that way.
They may go on for all I care; they won't be getting my money any time soon.
Of course you can't have my stuff. I'll need it in year and a half or two years from now when I forget how horrible (the blatantly visible part of) EVE community is and once again resub for a month or two to see same pathetic trolls wining the game by default. |

I tried, honestly.
But I found that other games have just as many griefers. I reinstalled TF2 and spawned as an engineer, wanting to build a little outpost in a corner of Dustbowl in peace. But no matter how much I asked, how much I pleaded, the other team refused to stop shooting me  .
Then I booted up Starcraft, but it seemed like the other players were just as if not more hell-bent on destroying my base and removing me from the game.
It isn't just EVE. Griefers are everywhere.  |

You expect to be free to endlessly insult me from nothing more than for me earning my isk by PVE, you keep taunting to come to lowsec, 00, wherever; and you now you also diligently work to prevent me from getting any worthwhile isk.
Why would anyone pay money for such a terrible game where you can only always lose (isk or nerves, doesn't matter. games are supposed to be fun; for me, I mean, its certainly fun for you guys)
PS. Its not tears. Its rage. Rage at me being stupid enough to give money (again) for such a terrible game. (well decent game but with terrible players;and devs and GMs with no connection with reality and economy). Rage at being stupid enough to believe anything in EVE has changed since last time.
Sadness that CCP remains clueless (original Ultima online PKer devs are so long gone its not even worth mentioning). Not sadness because I care about EVE or CCPs future; sadness because of wasted good money. |

You realize the people getting killed (griefed/whatever) are likely the very same ones that purchased the PLEX with real money to sell on the market for ISK in the first place?
Plex does not materialize from thin air. Real money was paid for it before it ever was placed on the market. If you are concerned about the PLEX market, then ***** at the people selling it on the market and technically paying for the accounts of the lowlifes (as you called them) in the first place. |
