yeah, well I had 32 seconds left on a skill when I went to sign in.. wonder if my petition will state that they couldn't verify whether or not the server caused me not to be able to log in, and therefore they cannot give me the missed sp.. When did it go down? I was trying to log in at 14:35 eve time.

For every new patch, the server either dies immediately or dies the very next day. It's great to see how some problems are fixed and more arise after that. No game is perfect but that is how MMOs are like these days.

I have been playing Eve for four months now.
The game must be good to have me so hooked despite the regular crashes.
However,I do look forward to CCP telling us what they have actually done to fix the frequent crashes, rather than what they they 'thought' they had done to fix the issue.
Oh well, onwards ever onwards,

It appears a backup process hanged this morning and just now the files took all the space on our second RAMSAN. We failed to see that it filled up which means it filled up and the server crashed. We are running this process now and as soon as it's done we will start up Tranquility.

The backup job that backs up our Transaction Log files hung at 02:30
As you may be aware we recently installed a secondary RAMSAN and moved our transaction log files to this RAMSAN, but disk space monitoring on this drive had not been enabled. 
With no disk space monitoring we were not notified of the second RAMSAN was using all its storage space, and since the job that backs up our transaction log files did not fail but remained in a hung state we did not receive a warning for that as well.
I have already implemented checks in the future to prevent this and it is unfortunate that this crash has happened so soon after fixing our failover problems. But I want to make it clear this is not related to the failover problem we were having, this is a completely new problem that occurred.
Our failover problems remain fixed and eradicated.
