I guess some anime is alrigt, afterall its just a cartoon style that can make a good movie/series. I've never watched it tho and never will simply because its fanbase are so way out of their heads into it. ITS SCARY!

Certainly there are ones like that, however better ones such as Gits or GTO are not fight style ones, now if you could take the finesse of those and add in macross style scenes then yeah I would be interested.

The girls in that anime piloted a ship that used railguns and lasers in spaceship combat... and all their fights are televised :)
That or Seikai no Senki style (Crest of the Stars) would be best.
Other space anime usually got lasers that can bend and weave ><

let's see... how could an EVE anime be?
fleet battles of the size of the ones on Legend of Galactic heroes (considered the space opera with the biggest fleet battles ever made... like 1million ships? pfft.. more mate), with a plot like Banner/crest of the stars, mixed with Cowboy Bebop and Planetes animation.
all this rated for 18 and such.
holy ****. I think it might've worked.
