Although I do think it'd benefit from a system whereby the player does accumulate and grow. For all that we TQ residents might be proud of how 'hardcore' we are, I think that the GTC sales have a large hand in keeping this place alive. A GTC/s will pull a veteran out of a tight spot, or let a newish player purchase characters with skills they want to try but don't want to wait a year to get. Without that ability to keep going, or progress or accumulate, Eve would lose players more regularly. To state my own bias, I do think it sucks a bit that veteran players are forever tied to the tasks they performed as a brand new player. What I mean to say is, buff mining lows ends for miners in 0.0 plx.
