Theres something ironic about this kind of pricing.
A) You use the power of two. EUR 49.95 ( $70.67) and get 180 days. $0.39 per day.
B) You buy 2x 90 Day time codes whenever for $38.85 and start off with one of their 30 day trials, yielding 210 days in total at a total cost of $77.70 or $0.37 per day.
Sweet, sweet offer.

It is actually 14 days that is some sort of typo. And you still get those free days with the power of 2  genius.

Hey Wrangler...any update/ETA on this, or is the query still in the process of running? Just curious because it's now Monday and the Po2 account creation option still isn't showing up in my Account Management options. Thanks!

Fair enough, so the Power of 2 actually grants 194 days? It's not like you can prolong a trial account with it, and it does say 6 months in every single ad and place you look?

No you don't. I created a Power of 2 account on 12/10/07, and today on my subscription details it says I have 176 days left, so the payment gives you 180 days - not 194.
I'm not complaining - if I wasn't happy, I wouldn't have bought a new Po2 account! - but people ought to know what they're buying, and you're misinforming them.

I haven't gotten an e-mail from EVE with an offer. And I've been an active subscriber (with CC) since november 2006
When the offer is available will I then see an option in my account setup or?

It's supposed to be sent to the character with most skillpoints, or oldest character maybe. I guess it is possible that it is sent to your oldest character on your oldest account only, though I don't know for sure.
And obviously, to get the email you must have a valid email registered on your account.

isnt there also a penalty for using GTC's to activate trial accounts? so it would be even less time to do it that way.

Damnit, wouldn't ya know it. The accounts I *dont* want power^2 on have the option. The accounts I do want it on, don't. Ah well. On the upside, I anticipate a lot of cheap characters in character bazaar in 6 months.

Jeebus, US$75 for us Europeans? Thats pretty steep... Nearly double the cost of what our trans-Atlantic cousins pay is totally not cool.
And don't you "VAT" me, I know that VAT can't account for more than half of that extra cost...
