I thouroughly agree, eve as a concept is thoroughly flawed. I completely agree with the open endedness of EVERYTHING. I want limitations, I want poeple to tell me what to do.
This game is sooo confusing I trained every races ships up to BS and it's left me in some weird bi-cybery state. Sure, it fun and I can do pretty much anything, but that just leaves me in such a state I find myself doing lvl 4 missions instead of seeing what eve truly has to offer.
I'm gonna go back to WOW and bonk ebil creatures on the head until lvl ninety twelve, that was far easier and enjoyable.
Psh, these 'eve' devs have no idea, srsly.

I don't agree at all with what our saying..
1. Yes it's possible to train anything...but it's not possible to train a titan in a decent amount of time if you start a character with 3 or 4 perception. So the mining character i have will probably flying a titan in about 10 years in the meanwhile i'm forced to do wathever skills depending on memory and intelligence. I won't be flying the biggest ship soon, but i'm probably capable of constructing it.
2. Sure we will keep advancing when we are offline. But i'm paying for my account for at least one month and since some of us have more time, it doesn't mean they should have an advantage over people who are less avalaible. (Altough the ones who have time, probably have more ISK). It's great as it is, some freak who plays 24/7 won't be able to get better than someone who plays one hour/week. If you ask me than i'd say this is brilliant.
3. Same as 1 + there is great specialisation, you just have to got for it. If you want to be the best drone boat, buy a dominix, tank it, train all drone skills, et voila, you are among the best in drones.
4. Yes a lot of ships, I'm a gallentean and you know what i won't be training ships from other races for at least a few years. I don't want to be able to fly every ship so i made a choice and i'll go for the gallente ones. Yes it takes long to train for a mothership! That's the point, CCP doesn't want everyone to fly a carrier in a day? It's a ton more fun this way, you live up to the day you'll have it, I even know a guy who cried on TS when he lost his carrier, because he trained it for months and earned all the money he needed to actually buy it. Beautiful!
5. What's wrong with that? I'm an European and from time to time I eat hamburgers altough those are more associated with America (no offence :p). Same with chinese food...my body probably has to adapt a bit before i get used to it...but i will. It's the same in game, you'll have to train skills before you'll be able to use it.
6. Sandboxgaming: if you mean this is merely a mining sim and nothing can go wrong, then you don't know what you are talking about. It doens't mean that i cn be everything i want, that i will be eventually...my character is limited in perception and willpower and thats why i'm focusing on industry. I don't want to fly a titan for example...it just doesn't fit with my character.
It's cool to join a corp and have some friends working together towards the same goal, settling somewhere in HS or maybe LS or 0.0 space. That's teh whole point of the game...but you certainly can't do what you want. If you steal their are consequences to be considered. If you pu t up a pos in someones space without asking you could risk war. In0.0 space alliances are constantly at war, because of territory, because of what they stand for.
YOUR problem is:
1. you can't seem to cope with the complexity of the game, meaning it's too much your head can bear.
2. You've not been in a alliance before, hell i even think you've never joined a corp before.
3. You never played a decent game before
4. Are you mature?
5. I just don't know the words in english

Yeah, I personally can't stand a game that allows me to play in the brief periods of quiet in an otherwise busy life. Dumb-ass devs, providing a game that allows me to progress without having to play hookey from work or neglect my family? Damn you CCP! Where is the mindless, button-mashing, "eat dinner at the computer" world of WoW? I need it. I crave it. I must sacrifice my future to play MMO's.

$15/month (50 cents/day) is nothing, really. That's a small fraction of your monthly income (I hope), it's 3 packs of smokes, a dinner at a not-so-good resturaunt, it's 2 hours for what passes as a movie now a days, it's not even a full tank of gas, you can't even buy a DVD with that. Get over yourself, because nowhere in life is $15/month going to give you the right to demand anything, from anyone, anytime, or anywhere (what would you put up with for $15/month?). Take your $15/month and leave, there are plenty of people who will continue to support this game because they enjoy it.

No, you don't. Chances are, you're too blinded by your own agenda to see that anything you have to say is nothing more than biased diarrhea of the mouth. Take your X number of years playing this/other games elsewhere, there are plenty of people who will continue to play this game because they enjoy it.

The most popular MMO in the world right now is nothing more than a rehash of the MMOs that came before it, there's nothing special or new there. The beauty of Eve is that it is unique, and it is different, and if the devs ever did make Eve like (such-and-such) a game, there would be an exodus of people unmatched since Exodus proper. Comparing Eve to (such-and-such) game just proves your complete and total ignorance of this game. Take your preconceived notions of what this game should be and leave, there are plenty of people who will continue to play this game for what it is.
I could go on, but I'll sum it up for you............
Take your money/opinions/objections/assumptions/complaints/whatever elsewhere, there are plenty of people who love this game.
