Oh puhhleese, if you do get owned by a T1 Badger or T1 hauler, I don't think you deserve to play this game to be honest.

Quote:
ECM Badger Mk. 2 Cost: 0.6 Million ISK (ship) + 2-3 Million ISK (fittings) High: 2 small nosferatu Medium: 6 Multispectral ECM Low: 3 Signal Distortion Amplifiers
Gives this thing a jamming strength of 25, which means it can perma-jam a BATTLESHIP! A battleship costs about 30 times as much as this setup With racial ECMs this ship can lock down TWO BATTLESHIPS which is just crazy. Can a Rook or Falcon do that?
Err WTF? WTS Clue about this :P
1. Jamming do not work like this (It is chance based). 2. Rook and falcon have 7/3 med/low slot layouts 3. Rook and falcon have a bonus in jamming strength. 4. Rook has a nice firepower (Yes not like a gank ship, the same as a caracal, it is not negligible).
So a rook and falcon can jam better, are tougher (T2 like resists), and the falcon can even use a COCD2 (and the rook, I think a ICD2 without penalties). I can almost permajam 4 battleships with the correct module layout on a rook. ____________________________________ A gift for pirates |

It's even funnier that they're STILL posting after many replies in this thread pointing out that it's a paid-trollwhine. I'm looking particularly at the fake Jeny Spitfire here

Industrials taking out a vaga?
Well done the indy pilots.
Keep up the posts Tarminic, they inject much needed humour into the forums, and for that I thank you.
PS do you have any thoughts on a tackling badger? |

Originally by: Missy X The baffling thing about this thread is not just that he whines about industrial attack craft, but then he goes on to give new players all the setup advice they need in order to do the deed. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Several times. With a rocket launcher or something.
They'll be disappointed when they realize that with all relevant skills as 5 most of these setups cap out after approximately 47 seconds, a detail which I conveniently ignored.
Originally by: Malcanis The tone was consistent and not overdone; the parody of EFT-based nerf-whines was meticulously accurate, with the ommission of important details almost flawless (LOL @ Badger II running 6 multispec ECMs with no cap mods... I think with maxed cap and ECM skills you might get 2 cycles).
See above.
I'm glad the blatant anti-carebear bias wasn't too over the top either, I was worried that would clue people in too early.

Actually, a setup I developed but didn't list here was a badger with 6 webbers paired with another badger with 6 warp jammers. ---------------- Tarminic - 29 Million SP in Forum Warfare Wrangler on Whining |

not just AWACS, the biggest can of whupass in the sky that isnt an A10 warthog, the AC130"Spectre" is based off the C130 transport. it is the real world Battle Badger.
Yeah but it mixes auto's wth arty....come on what kind of a setup is that?
i dont know but it seems to be rather effective for the USAF, then again they have perfected orbiting their target at close range.

I enjoy it when people use the "cost" rational. The cost of the vessel is what it is because we place that value on the ship. The cost of the ship has nothign to do with its awesomeness.
If we're thinking in those terms then my 900 mill obelisk should be able to kill your crummy hac and lame recon.

If you nerf my Battle Badger I'll quit!
On a serious note, at this point I honestly wouldn't be surprised to log into the test server one day and see that CCP has made haulers useless without any previous discussion. A day later they post a dev blog explaining "they were too versatile and while we were tossing the idea around we accidentally coded and implemented it. Don't worry now that you found out and are outraged we'll delay it several weeks."

This is an awesome troll.
I suggested that the new fleet ships should be badger II's and then someone told me about a hauler dread take down. Did get cap support but tackled and jammed by haulers.

It's a shame my corps killboard is private.
If Tarminic saw my Badger K/D ratio he would probably soil his bed. And I don't want to know what he's do if he saw my Velator record.
