yeah - no surprise there then - big eve patch then server falls over, still that's why it always says to set a long skill to train and i'm sure ccp will give you your time back - good eggs that they are!!!
At least it stops me getting podded for a few hours.....

lol, I'm permanently practicing guitar, so the moment the game started lagging I jus picked the thing up an played it. I only posted because I checked this post for some kind of reason or fix and found lots of people whining.
btw, I suck at guitar, so I have to practice non-stop.

CCP cant help if theres a problem with the server just be thankfull theyre trying fix it for ya and stop b***hin at um... theyre decent, guys if they werent there on patchdays thered be no eve! Thanks CCP!!  Keep up the "Hard" work hehe

Sure, patchdays are difficult, but a lot players started missions, skills etc. Just to be curious - what about lost ISK because you can't finish your mission and won't get the extra bounty?
A warning is a nice but seriously, it's PATCH DAY!!! What about this don't you understand!?! System instability anyone? If you have a skill coming up, your fault! If you are ratting and log back in in a pod, your fault! Expect the server to go down unexpectedly (see how that works?) and don't take risks unless you are ok with the consequences. Now quit your whining and let the very nice people at CCP (who give us such a great internet spaceship game to play) do their work.

i hope just because my account is trial they will still take care of me i was in a 0.6 sec space trying to mine and my destroyer wasnt cheap, though it is insured i really dont have the isk to replace all my upgrades at the moment so hopefully the server will be back up soon.

Luckily CCP were kind enough to suggest a plan of risk management and informed you to train a long skill.
