need urgent info.
Can I buy po2, then use my char from last power of 2 offer and transfer to this new po2 account, and continue his trainings further on?
If po2 has no restrictions like normal accounts, I may consider buying it again.
Though 20$+50$ for 6 months = 70$
makje sit cheaper by 1 $ 70c opposed to your normal charging prices.
AND, if I buy it from GTCs site in US, it goes even cheaper!
Lucky, my credit card does calcs in US $, so Im on cheaper side whatever I pay, lol, even if Im in EU zone (or right next to it).

So. What do you do when the name you want dosnt' sho up in game as being taken but when you try to creat a PO2 account under that name is says,
ERROR: The username you selected has already been taken, please select a different username.
I check again and the funn name has not been taken. Only the first part. Say If I wanted the name, "Vinny the Toad". The name "Vinny" comes up taken in game but not "Vinny the toad"
The character with the first name I want is about 2.5 years old, still in the noob corp with no standings. I don't think the person ever got past the trial account. Can I petition for the name? Or is there a way to get the name I wanted in the first place?

CCP Wrangler, if the EURO/USD price becomes a continuing issue you should have the finance department look into "currency hedging" your circumstances are a bit different than I have ever dealt with due to unpredicted and small vast transactions. However a specialty currency hedging fund, might have a solution. |

I have an active account with EVE. I also recently created a Trial Account via a promotion. Is there any way that I could activate my trial account as my second account? I can't see any logical reason why I could not, but from what I'm reading, it's not allowed. Clarification, please.

Well i recently started a trial account after having a break from EVE for a few years and got hooked again so i re activated my old acount thinking i would take advantage of the Power of 2 offer to keep my trial acount going wich i have got attached to
the advertisment on the main page only states u need an active account to get the power of 2 deal
"The Power of Two is available to everyone with an active EVE subscription. (Trial accounts are not eligible.)"
i cant under stand why u wont let people take advantage of this if they have an active account reguardless of when the account was created and wish to pay another $50 isnt this good for CCP beter to have $50 for 6 months than 0 dollars

I had a second account with the offer of last year... Why can't I reactivate it with this offer? After all, you'd get a second paying account from me, even tho it might be only for a limited time...

Make EU players pay 35 euros (give or take) so it's the same as US players with their 50 bucks.
I've been hearing that it's cheaper to start a new account using gtc's bougth from shattered crystal for instance, so this is just rediculous.
this is the same thing that's keeping me from getting a second account. Dollar is much cheaper and it should be the same price all around of the world. keep in mind I am a student and I do not have that much money.. One price for the win. If the price is the same as the quoted writer above I would buy it instantly...

CCP please clarify,
I Filed a petition under billing and account but it has been 3 days and no reply.
Please allow us to activate a trial account into a full paying account via PO2 (if we already own a full paying account).
No clarification has been given and the ability to use PO2 Ends on Monday, I do not want to lose 1 1/2 weeks of training time and isk already invested. Not to mention my sweet a55 name :)

I've had paying account long enough to qualify but there's no option in My Account screens to take up Po2 offer... It seems I'm not the only one still suffering this bug, please fix!

I try to do the PO2 offer but in the second window of activation I have always the same error:
Username:Username exists;
I have tried every type of name and it doesn't work, givin that error... I want my new account, fix the problem please...

I Would like to have a second account, 1 simple problem...
I log into account, no button or anything to create a second account :(
I recently re-joined eve a week or 2 ago, asked support about it, they said my account was not active when the power of 2 was out, so tuff luck :(
Now it has been extended and i have been active, how come i can't get a second account?
CCP I am willing to pay for a second account, are you going to turn me down?
I think it is a bit sad you dont just let anyone have a second account, after all it's extra revenue for CCP I thought this mr disgruntled customer covered my issue well - except that I have tried a bunch of times with different browsers to look for a way to purchase the promotions account. I am Mac user but not a tech luddite ccp wrangler you are my only hope!
Mord -- and here is the worst thing I sent in a support request via email and got a insultingly silly response.
Here it is "Thank you for contacting EVE-online Customer Support.
This is an automated reply to let you know that we have received your message and will address it as soon as possible.
If you have not already done so, you may want to go through the Knowledge Base and to see if you can find a solution to your problem there.

If you wish to update your active petition, please reply to this mail instead of sending a second one." um Gee that is the dumbest form letter I have ever been sent. I have tried a billion times to log on and take advantage of this offer and I assure you on my firefox or my safari brower -- either one -- there is no way to create an account and get this power of two promotion or any way to have the issue inteligently addressed by email support. Please CCP wrangly take care of this. With no live or phone support having a tech glitch this persistent and email support so idiotic and form letterish. I am wondering about my first account. show me you can get something done.

OK, I upgraded my trial account to a full account less than 3 hours ago. When I go to https://secure.eve-online.com/AccountManMenu.aspx
I see buttons for:
Account details, Subscription Details, Account services,
Enable Eve voice, Update subscription interval, Change password, got a new credit card?, and cancel subscription. I can't figure out how to proceed. Am I "Missing the button", or just not seeing it? Also, when I go to purchase this power of two, can I do it with a debit card other than the one I'm using to pay for my normal subscription?

CCP is doing a great job advertising promotions that don't work for half the people who want it. there's a lot of people on this thread that can't access this deal and I'm sure there's more, but CCP isn't doing **** all about it.
If by monday this "bug" or whatever it is still isn't fixed, then I'll know exacly what kind of customer care they have.

Can you extend the offer until friday. I have just joined up with a trial account with a friend and were bringing about 7 more players into the Universe. The thing is we all work together and get paid on this coming Friday once a month.
Im not what you would call a saving $$ type but i would definately have that cash in your account then!
