Edited by: Leona Callahan on 08/11/2007 17:34:05 Edited by: Leona Callahan on 08/11/2007 17:33:32 At the moment there are two modes in which Eve can run: "Fullscreen" and "Window mode"
Example: If you have a tft with a native resolution of 1280x1024 an you run eve in fullscreen you always have to alt+tab - which minimizes the eve client - to switch to an application at the desktop like teamspeak When you run Eve in windowed mode you cannot choose a resolution of 1280x1024 because the titlebar and the border around the window stand in the way -> you have to choose a resolution below the 1280x1024. But now you are in windowed mode you need not to minimize eve when you like to access a desktopapplication like teamspeak.
Suggestion: Why not combine these two modes and include an option for windowed mode to blend out the border of the windowed eve client? With this option eve would look like fullscreen (when you choose the desktopresolution) with the advantage of windowed mode to access the task bar or a desktop application without minimizing the client.
With this feature implemented it would also be possible to run two eve clients in "fullscreen" on two montors at the same time!
I hope this feature finds its way into an eve patch.

I just reposition the window, and title bar only takes about 5 pixels then, no sides to see. But its annoying to do this, so it would be better if there were no edges nor titlebar, but we should be able to move the window somehow. And an option to snap to a corner automatically. Top left by default.

EveMon's feature resizes your window to full screen. That means you can't see the taskbar. And can't use multiple clients easily.

This is the feature the OP was asking for. He wanted it to appear as fullscreen, but in fact be windowed. The start menu is covered by the eve window, but hitting the start button still brings it up on top.
