As they grow fat & careless accepting former enemies of m0o corp into their midst, we have watched from afar with mild curiosity. But enough is enough, m0o corp has long since regarded Curse as its home and to restrict access to this region is at best unacceptable. We will not tolerate this from our former "friends" and any attempt to prevent m0o ships from entering Curse space will be put down with alarming force. I hereby demand from CA the sum of 20 billion isk and full unlimited access to Curse Space or you will face the prospect of a full m0o invasion. If you don't pay we will kill your haulers, your miners, your fighters, you will be hunted wherever you go. We have seen this time and again since Beta, corporations build themselves up, spread their influence across greater and greater areas, then fail because of apathy - "lack of challenge" or simply because they become the "one to beat." Toppeling alliances has become the next step and CA, as the moments largest alliance has become the games biggest target. The best part is the *Rogue Element*, meaning 3rd party, pure PvP corps such as mOO (and Evolution to a different degree) who seem to have successfully transformed themselves from simple pirate gankers into a roving bands of mauraders intent on testing themselves against greater and greater challenges. If mOO is serious, if this isn't a stunt for the forums, then the next 3 to 6 weeks may see another shift in galatic power. The real question is whether mOO has the ability to back up Lord Zap's post.

I agree. a half dozen ships in each system is more than sufficient, when engaged fleets in neighbouring systems jump into each gate and camp it thus trapping the moo forces in the system. I got to see it first hand more than once. It really does depend on the bear and the pack, but mostly as far as I saw the bear won. Anything else said concerning "fat and careless", "former enemies of mOo corp", "long since regarded Curse as its home", "restrict access to this region....unacceptable", "We will not tolerate....former 'friends'" etc. is flowery rhetoric to excuse Lord Zap's choice to attack the Curse Alliance out of sheer boredom.

Of course Lord Zap would have absolutely no knowledge of this situation because he wasn't even in Fountain region...but many in the Forsaken Empire will agree that Lord Zap's in-game ego easily can take up 3 or 4 regions at a time. Leaders of the Forsaken Empire Alliance corps were approached by him...the now Emporer of the Forsaken Alliance corp. The Emporer made the leaders of the primary Forsaken Empire Alliance corps realize that the Eve-universe was evolving and about to change drastically. We individual corps had a decision to make...evolve and grow with the game or try to continue to live in a dead past and be left behind. We chose the leadership of the Emporer...the guidance of the 5 Pillars of the Emporer and to change and evolve with the game. The FE is just mortally afraid after thier failure up in Fountain. We handed Fountain to them on a silver platter and they lost it. joining CA was the only way they could continue to survive in any shape or form. 3. I have fought m0o, COW, Jokers, SA, CA, and about every other stupid alliance in the game when they got in the way, and I have a lot of respect for the first 3 of them. I dont blame you for taking advantage of the ore relocation you mined like mad to build your fleets back up and you did it well, As did evolution take full advantage of the situation. then the war was on again, Then again we attacked your alliance till we forced you all back into e02 where you sat in a massive blob of miners and fighters, Curse was empty once again evol roamed around forcing your pilots into safe spots for hours on end, killing lone pilots here and there. Then once you realised there was no way to beat us, you started the evol is cheats stuff again. Face it every time we attacked the following has happened. 1.) Big battles losses on both sides 2.) after big battles your pilots get bored 3.) we start our normal tatics killing you all over the place 4.) you get mad start calling us cheats because the way we fight doesn't allow you much chance to kill us. 5.) you blob up in one system, and still say you own curse. 6.) your less known industrial and pvp corps cant take the losses any more and bail to empire.

But as for now... pay up. I'm not a pirate, I'm a freelancer, just going around minding my own business. I have fought m0o, COW, Jokers, SA, CA, and about every other stupid alliance in the game when they got in the way, and I have a lot of respect for the first 3 of them. All I can say is in my open statement below: "CA, it is totally irrelevant to me if you're there of not, I just hope for the sake of your unsuspecting members you assess the situation and simply pay up. 20B isk can be replaced in a matter of a single week. CA combat forces are a joke, not because they are inexperienced, but because they are unorganized, and have no idea how to work together. CA corporations are each pulling the blanket to their side, trying to stay out of the harms way, thus rendering the alliance weak, and defenseless. The only reason you have not been overrun by SA is a force South of your borders, fighting your battles for you. Most battleships with a single sensor booster have a lock range of between 107km to 130km (ish)... With a "unarmed" scorp setup for jamming the best possible defense is to stay out of jamming / attack range of the enemy ships ......... but WITHIN your targeting range to "pulse jam" them. With the normal JIP range around a jump gate at around 15km the math's go as follows .. 15km (JIP) + 130km (enemy lock range) = 145km approx Hence sitting around 150km from your intended targets give you the ability to lock and "pulse jam" multiple targets with the lowest chance of counter attack .. Any other jamming / survival lessons are chargeable .. Mongo speaks !!

We tried for a long time to get our fleet orginized so that everyone would come in optimal range to inflict as much damage as possible, missile boats and tank in the front line, so they would take the heat from the gun boats and mainly so the missiles wouldnt explode on the ships in front of them, not to mention the time it takes for a missile to travel 70km+. After some time few pilots listened and got into formation but the main force was still way out from their optimal range so we decided not to fight in the front line with our whole corp and risk our ships against 2x bigger force if those fighting with us wouldnt risk their ships in that particular battle, many fought well while others decided to play it safe and stay behind so they wouldnt get shot at, I am not talking about the 2 jammers who were in their best place so they wouldnt be jammed. I know this since I was there and I was in a Raven closest to the gate the whole time trying to get the rest of missile/tank ships near me and the gun boats above us, it took a long time and only after we left did the rest listen and got into formation wich was efficiant and protective. I do agree that it does get quite stupidly laggy in the big, BIG fights but smaller fleet fights of 20 or less v. 20 or less I've been in have been more than fine. Hunter groups will be always be apart of the game but think you may see a resurgance of the big slobber knockers if CCP can keep to their word.

We in m0o were about 35-40km above the gate, trying to be in optimal range for our weapons and in range to move towards the gate if we were so lucky to have someone spawn above the gate and warp jam them, several non m0o ships were there with us, most were around 80 km above the gate and that included most of the tank ships, i.e. scorps and ravens wich also have the main firepower in missiles, 2 jammers were around 170-180km above the gate. We tried for a long time to get our fleet orginized so that everyone would come in optimal range to inflict as much damage as possible, missile boats and tank in the front line, so they would take the heat from the gun boats and mainly so the missiles wouldnt explode on the ships in front of them, not to mention the time it takes for a missile to travel 70km+. After some time few pilots listened and got into formation but the main force was still way out from their optimal range so we decided not to fight in the front line with our whole corp and risk our ships against 2x bigger force if those fighting with us wouldnt risk their ships in that particular battle, many fought well while others decided to play it safe and stay behind so they wouldnt get shot at, I am not talking about the 2 jammers who were in their best place so they wouldnt be jammed. I know this since I was there and I was in a Raven closest to the gate the whole time trying to get the rest of missile/tank ships near me and the gun boats above us, it took a long time and only after we left did the rest listen and got into formation wich was efficiant and protective. We are always in the front line since that is our style. But please stop talking smack because of a game. Omni, That's pretty correct, but don't forget that m0o were the minority in that fight... out of the 50 or so battleships, I think 10-12 were m0o. I was sitting on the front line right next to you, ready to die if so be it, and so were many other F-E and friends. That battle had us trying a new tactic, one we had seen fountain use. The long range dedicated jammers... of which mongo and I think darwin were dedicated long range jammers (might have been havo..) Fountain was crazy with the e-w, and used it to good effect. I think if it had been better communicated what we were trying, then the confusion could have been avoided. The vast majority of m0o I have great respect for, but you have to admit it, lord zap should be named "lord yap", as that's all the goof-ball does. You should be speaking for m0o... not that dim-wit. All my "smack-talk" will be reserved strictly for "Yap Yap" Zap.

After the performance hotfix on thuesday (AFAIR), we had a brief battle with FE, 15 ships on our side, around 30 on their side, and the lag was quite bearable. I'd say I got around 3-5 fps, which is quite good with the number of ships involved. No drones were used, and a limited number of missiles (was long range battle), but still a lot better than what I've experienced before. Even if nothing conclusive can be said about it yet, it looks good so far.

I can't wait this will be a great fight, i have the uttmost respect for M0o and its members... and when it comes to the petition button i only seem to have to use it when i fight evolution... such cheaters...

No they did not pay. m0o have just made their biggest mistake to date. They are a joke and zappy has efficiently ruined what little respect they had left. They can't fight CA, the issue has been resolved in other ways. m0o corp has a great history. They practically invented the "pirate" tactics the kids today use. It's a shame that the corp would go down as a common joke instead of being remembered with the respect it deserves.
