As Drach said... the relationship between ATF and TRI is a mutual one. The best example for this is the G and IRON of old, or somewhat the RA and Goons of today. We simply dont have the numbers to compete in 0.0 blob warfare. TRI do, and were in need of a strong alliance to back them up in time zones where they are weak, and to be able to depend on to have their back. We were in need of the same, and in order for our relationship to work we needed to live close by, so YW space was the perfect option.

And thats enought here in CAOD to make "Your alliance said". You see this also in this thread .. you start smacking CoW and saying stuff about CoW because I happen to be in that alliance when I post. So when people inside TRI posts, it's what TRI says. If you cannot handle that make that your people aren't allowed to post CAOD (As we have in CoW).

I will agree with you, partially, that your relationship with TRI is one of mutual benefits.
My only argument with this logic is that the benefits provided to TRI from ATF are done so compulsorily. You may be "friends who help each other," however you are not only that.
Should you NOT show up to help TRI you would find yourself very quickly out of Fade, whereas they can't expect to have any like consequences if they decide not to help you.
My point is this: You are only in Fade because you have something to offer TRI. It has little to nothing to do with your own power as an alliance. You have not gained your space purely (or even nearly so) of your own merit.
Whether or not your situation is "mutually" beneficial has no bearing in this argument:
Make no mistake, you are only there because you help Triumvirate. If you didn't you would be removed.
That last sentence is, to me, why you are are pet alliance.
If X you can stay.
If not X you're outta here.

Again, I'm not trying to be an ******* or anything, these are just my views and in the end I don't think you can come right out and say you aren't at LEAST a little petty.

I tend to agree with you there and I know TRI leadership tries hard to keep people from posting crap on CAOD.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it dont but I think lately it has decreased to reasonable levels.

In hindsight, we should have used retainers back then but no one really cared. Simpler times. Good times.

I'm not going to bother responding to this, because you obviously dont understand the idea of a symbiotic sort of relationship.
FYI, IRON could not hold its space without G, because IRON was ALWAYS the support wing, and probably the best in the game. G flew the BS and caps, and IRON flew the support, it was the easiest way to do it with the language barriers and the like. As you saw, it worked quite well. G was the first alliance to start producing motherships, and you saw what it took to kill them.
Whether we could hold our space against an invasion is yet to be seen. Against BOB/RSF, no, but against targets more to our size, easily. However, this is not the point. I see what you mean about paying rent by flying in PVP, but we do not ever get orders. We are allowed and able to decline requests from TRI, as they are from us. Its called compromise.
BTW, yes we may be ratting now. However, most of us have not ratted since March when IRON lost Deklein (drone regions suck for ratting). Call us carebears if you wish, but you havent brought anything resembling a threat to us, and until you/someone does we will continue to "carebear".

While its been proven that your corp is very good at what you do, and thats grief tactics and ganking from what I've seen when you pop yer heads in. I will say that you can't really come into local smacking it up and all that at 2 in the morning (my local time) and expect the alliance to put up an actual resistance. YOU know this, I know this, YOUR CORP knows this... which is why you chose to show up at one of our thinnest times.
During our Prime Time, and when we take roaming gangs out to do the same thing you love to do.. just go out and have some fun shooting ships until they explode in that pretty blue flash of light... Your pilots are generally docked up in X-70 and afk... much like our pilots are in L-C when you guys go roaming.
Sorry we haven't had the same time zone coverage to make for some potentially great fights. It Also goes to show that if you were to attempt sieging us out of Fade... your Corp, would not be alone at all, Multiverse and Incognito would definitely be along for the ride (friends being friends and all) but thats not the point... WE could siege you out just as easily as you could us... on the premise that we play at a slightly earlier time than you and generally you're offline or AFK when that time is rolling around.
On The Subject of Smacktalk.... I know both sides have instigated, and both sides have escalated, etc, etc... myself included.. How about BOTH SIDES getting off the smacktalk bull**** and have good clean fights, or whatever... a fine example would be the nice chats I've had with one of your pilots in local... Vel'Kethor... where as generally the rest of ya start smacking as soon as you hit local... sometimes we start, but ya know.... not the point...
Lets Clean it up, Stop being ****s to one another and have some clean fights... if we ever actually get a fight...
