I have used Hardin in at least two other MMOG.

The name comes from a character in Isacc Asimov's Foundation series (a great read for anyone into Sci-Fi).

I picked Hardin as I liked the character and his quotes including:

After siezing power in a bloodless coup, Hardin steered the Foundation towards a measure of security through playing the interests of the neighbouring Kingdoms against one another, and enabled a smooth transition from pseudo-scientific backwater to a fully-functioning society in its own right.

Mine's from a well known science fiction novel.

I think the original english title is 'the moot in god's Eye'. Dunno for sure, I read it in Dutch.

Can't remember the author's name off the top of my head, but im sure some of you know him.

Rod Blaine is a somewhat anti-heroical ship captain that by coincidence get's to be the first to make contact with Alien lifeforms in a distant future. It ends up getting totally out of hand of course

I wanted something frenchy so I went with one of the french revolution masterminds, something-something Danton and then since I couldn't get creative with my surname due to restrictions in the name generator I went with my favorite movie gladiator trainer/druglord Marcellus.

Not being very imaginative upon creation I'm a wee bit embarassed now and again when I come across real good names but then some of you cross my path and I feel I did good after all.
