I think you'll find this ship is amazingly good and efficient at neutuering the only effective asset that nanoships have to avoid fighting gangs chasing them. In fact that's the point. Say goodbye to the nano-Ishtar among others. 5. Well of course it will be primary. Just like Scorpions were always primary in fleet battles in the days when it could perma-jam 3 battleships. It's stupidly powerful. This forum is obssessed with nano ships. It has nothing to do with nanoships. It affects a lot more than nanoships. Truly this thread demonstrates everything you'll ever need to know about the game knowledge of most people who post here.

I would think these new frigates will be more around the 18-22m range. I'm pretty sure it will hit 5km/s without rigs, as it stands. With polycarbs etc more like 6+. Higher sig radius though than an interceptor of course, and more mass too. You could say it's roughly approaching as hard to kill as a crow due to the speed and range of it. Of course though in a ship with medium guns tackled by a crow, one regular tactic is to...exploit the fact the crow doesnt have a web. Crows are in fact extremely difficult ships to shake off so most mwd back to the gate. Or for more experienced players in quite fast cruiser sized ships who can hit to 20km (eg. Vaga's, Zealot's. And various others), they could mwd away and towards the crow, so that if he's using the oribt command his ship will then start flying roughly away or towards your ship in order to re-obtain the orbit, thus lowering transversal somewhat relative to your *, and making him easier to hit and soon insta pop. Like, if you are in a vaga or stabber at the moment and have barrage loaded, you can still kill ceptors easily even though it's also easy to miss a lot. MWDing directly away from ceptors or towards them and insta-popping them is normal procedure. Of course this advantage of maneuver is gone vs the hyena unless you can kill it very quickly before it closes to about 22km the range I believe that it can web to with overloaded webs). So if you get caught by one off a gate, enjoy sitting there looking frustrated, while his gang comes to gank you. Medium guns or not wont help you, and neither will Warrior II's. Of course, you can say the same about a huginn. Except the Hyena will probably be less than 1/5 of a Huginn price, and faster with a much better lock speed (although Huginns can fit sensorboosters). Not to mention that anyone who trains their own racial EAS skill can cross train into this one in about a week. And personally I think Huginns, and the way webs work in general, is already a bad mechanic.
