jebus i take a break for a week and i miss battle royale here. dangit!! sounds like a good old fashioned slugfest. Always a blast win/lose when we go to irc space. total respect to them for putting there caps on the line keep the gfs coming. Ps Farham is my fav diplo!

TBH, I've been getting really bored with Eve lately and not enjoying myself.
That battle restored my faith in the game. The lag was pretty bad for only 180 in local, but there were a LOT of wrecks.
Props to IRC for bringing it, I've never had so much fun in a fleet battle, and all I had was a blackbird. Of course, it let me break the repping chain over and over and over again, which just goes to show you what incredible pwnmobiles carriers are, right?
Hope to see more battles like this...

I received 3 hours of sleep due to the awesome fun this was, and when thoose hours of sleep was up I onlined myself till now, eve is bad for me.
Nice fighting, good of you to add spice by blocking reinforcements and hit&run gangs around the place, lets hope for less lag next time :)

well peoke if you have us so well scoped out and your spies are truthfully reporting to you, why not have em check our forums over the last 6 months and our previous alliance mails. We always ask for donations, its how we have built much of what we have. Some might even call it amazingly enough a part of our corporate model....

Uhmm, Peoke, put down the pipe and get yourself some schooling. No such alliance mail went out concerning donations or alliance mining ops went out. We did have such a mail go out days BEFORE last night concerning another project we have going on but thanks for the intel 4 days later.
If you are going to have your spies try and feed you CAOD material, get it at least close to right.
Trust me Peoke, I am sure SMASH is a fine alliance but *by yourselves*...I can assure you, we aren't overly worried about you.

smash allinace has some fine members, unfortunaly their response time to hostiles is rather laggy, and i dont see you roaming much into our space with out RK by your side, thank your lucky stars RK are your freinds and the rest of the Reds, like pure atlas and chaos.
So please please before you think about pocking your smacking trolling heads out in the forums dont forget whos carrying you!!
i doubt 4 on 1 with your caps yet better your team work youd even last 30 minutes against such force by your selfs.
Cudo's to Rk for for looking after the kids they have their uses :)

CCP dont do enything about the lag because ragoons+friends would take over BoB space very quickly then.

Nice battlereports.
Props to for bringing the caps. But even I liked ure all-out-combat attitude.
I find ure FC making lots of mistakes.
A capital pilots best skill, is to know when to engange and not.
same goes for the fc.
Once ure at the frontline its very hard to get out again.
For me it seems like whatever u meet, ure FC just trow all his caps on the enemy gang, without any planning.
Sure its fun, and first 3-4 fights u might even shock ure enemys.
But u have done the same now for soon 3-4mothns.
just seen the alliance ticket I would know what tacktic u would use.
Try not been so prediciable, also caps sux when they are left alone without support. they are ofc nice to spider tank. but they cant kill much.

wildside we may be somewhat predictable, but it works for us, tell me another setup that a gang of between 30-50 can defend against 286 hostile pilots over the course of 5 hours, many of which are t2 and battleships, and we may consider using that one :)
just because you see us doing similar things does not mean we are unable to do other, but that what we are doing has tested to be the most effective on the whole, and before you bash our fc's for making a mistake that word first goes to our cap pilots, including myself, who were litterally beggin them to let us go in and fight the initial pure gang, I lost mine but it was well worth it to be apart of that fight non stop for four hours straight and knowing what I know about how it turned out I probably would have done it again.
how many times to people get to have fights like that in this game anymore? in my experience almost never.
as well if you could see the whole fraps of the fight you might realize that 8 carriers with no support slowly but surely took out a large portion of the initial pure gang, quick responses and good tactics held us out there for alot longer then many others would be able to maintain the field.
lets not forget that although we had about 30 support for the first 3 hours it was still basically our 8 or so cap pilots against multiple enemy fleets that held the field, with support mopping up any that warped off or tried to escape/return.
