Please change the Gallente Baby Boy colors....

Or look at someone else's, nicer ship, and pretend that's me. :) At any rate it's far too late to go back and reskin every damn gallente ship at this point. If CCP had wanted our opinion on the skins, we'd've been shown them months ago, with perhaps a poll and selection of choices. Or, we'd have the option to customize skins, something I know lots of people would like to see but has never been a priority for CCP (plus the associated problem of how do you stop people from putting obscenities on their hulls). Whatever. The game is still fun, and I'll get used to the new colors. ___________________________________ Wielder of the Trout of Doom(tm)! ___________________________________ Redo the Domi hull for Trinity 2. Scrap the upside down shoe! Do it!

It's still not as good as the old one, but much better then light blue. The new color is also pretty light though, and at least on my system with the shadows, hdr and bloom on max, it's still a shade too light and pretty matte. It reflects plenty when the viewing angle is close to opposite the light source, but nowhere near as much as the Badger I had lying around.

This is the Blue that can be found in our hospital nearby ... in the toilets for the patients. So I have to agree with OldWolfe. Please CCP, be aware of this post. A little bit more darker would be excellent. We look the most time in the game at our ships. It's a little bit about identical reasons with the race. If you fly long time a Dominix (which is ugly enough), then you agree that it is now an epic ugly ship. The Megathron or Hyperion are in their looks much better. But now ... toilet- or babyblue too. This is not now a reason to change the race, beware. But there will be noe an envy look to the other races with their ships. In the trailer, the Gallente ships looks much darker ... not baby- or toiletblue. Please CCP, think about it. And please forgive my grammar, I'm not the best in english writing.

It would be an edit of the texture map for each and every skin. Still, it's probably easier than I originally said. The shuttle, who knows. And to Surfin Plunderbunny: Just after the Hictors were unveiled and the old pink thorax hull was being used on Sisi for the gallente type, me and a corpmate were having a chat about customizing skins, or even just a range of preset skins. He says, "If we could choose colors, everyone would be flying black and red ships". To which I said, "Nartz to that, I'd choose pink for every ship I fly. Hopefully the Dev will start noticing our thoughts behind the why it should change and start getting around to it. Meanwhile, I'm flying my Astarte and my Ashimmu Salvager.

Instead of a true baby-blue paint job, it's more like the patina or tarnish you see on brass that's been exposed to the elements. It is quite different from the Gallente look that led me to finally settle on a race, however. I can understand why some folks are unhappy.

The Myrm and Domi in particular are really soft and toy'ish. Not exactly the mood most of us would like to have presented by our ships. The issue isn't what other players see, the reality is that most of us like to have neat looking ships just like most players want there Knight to have a sweet sword and tough looking armor (or whatever the avatar may be in your game). Not going to retrain for other ships because of the scheme, but honestly.. it is pretty weak and sad in comparison to most other ships in the game when you have a pewter colored ship with seafoam green accents. =P

The t2 ships that i've seen are good, but all the t1, damn...who did the pastel colored paint by numbers? make them way way darker, that should be a quick fix for this, but do something because what the hell. I mean just what the hell. I guess i can always beef up my caldari-related skills or something, since i absolutely cannot bring myself to undock in a fisher price battleship.
