10 Things to do During the 24 Hour Patch
10. Tell your wife/girlfriend that you have decided not to play Eve for the next 24 hours and that you will spend that time with her.
9. Tell the wife you have decided not to play Eve for the next 24 hours and that you will do that thing sheÆs been nagging you to do for months.
8. Tell your wife/girlfriend that you are going to prove to her that she is more important than Eve by not playing for 24 hours.
(I had to get those in since my wife considers Eve to be the other women in my life.)
7. For GodÆs sake do anything besides playing WOW.
6. Call CCP and complain about the site and the forums being down (you know they will be donÆt you?).
5. Watch the last tournament on EVE TV, especially the fight where BobÆs so called unbeatable line up was taken down by 10 T1 ships.
4. Cry about EVE TVÆs demiseùnot because you miss the EVE news but because you canÆt see that babe StevieSG anymore!
3. Start a 12 step program for Eve addicts.
2. Go to the mall and do your Christmas shoppingùwhen else will you have a chance this season?
1. Go to the doctor and tell him you need some anti-depressants to make it through the next 24 hours.

I still have stalker, sup com forged alliance, crysis and some other games to catch up on. It will be nice to have a break from eve and do ****zle.

So it's a whooping 24 hours this time?
Maybe i'll resub PS for a month.... *IF* i finally see them deliver the long promised hacking content. Otherwise i might just see if reactivating my ancient CoH sub now gives me access to CoV as well.
And there's always GW and DoW DC.

I believe was time to play another "traditional" backgammon night with my mate through MSN 
As we do always on 24h downtimes.

Step 1. Make her breakfast in bed. Her favorite stuff, from scratch (unless it's cereal, because homemade Lucky Charms will probably blow)
Step 2. Spend the day doing things that she likes. Shopping, picnics, whatever. Leave your watch and cell phone at home, because you're going to be glancing at them to see if the server could be up. That's a mistake. Also, treat clocks like a naked Rosie O'Donnell (ie. avoid looking at them at all costs)
Step 3. Romantic dinner. You got money saved up for a video card or something, spend it now. Make reservations early (say today) at an expensive restaurant, don't tell her which just tell her she needs a nice dress. Bonus points: suggest a dress you think she looks nice in -- it'll show you actually pay attention once in a while.
Step 4. Take her home. If you've played your cards right you'll be in a good position to repeat step 1 tomorrow morning and probably won't even remember to patch your client.

I am somewhat amazed people have 24hrs of free time... I'd be sleeping for about 8hrs of that, then another 8 for work, then 1 hrs for roaming arround going to work/home, another say 2 hrs for food in the morning 30 minutes for showering etc... Ok I'll be honest I don't sleep 8 hrs but usually it's only 6 hours of free time to burn on patch day.
