No your Christians just want to start a apocalyptic war in the middle east that will bring the second coming of Christ
And it was just a happy coincidence that the "rouge state" Iraq USA invaded just happen to sit on one of the biggest oil reserves in the world...
Darkmatter, you must be the biggest ***** I had the displeasure of reading on the eve-o forum.
If you just for a few seconds could see yourself objectively without bias then you would realize that you are not much different from the so called fundamentalists in the rest of the world.
You all think that "your way" is the only way and if not doing it my way then "feel my fist in your face" is the answer. I'm sure that attitude will spread love and universal understanding everywhere
Darkmatter, I don't believe in any religion but if most Americans are like you then God help the world.

The scourge of Sharia Law should be eradicated wherever it exists. Sharia Law is what propels today's terrorism and countless human rights abuses. Unfortunately, erasing Sharia Law will not be an easy task. |

I bet she will get 0 days. Rememeber, this is taking place in the Sudan. No protests take place without the government sponsoring them. his is a perfect distraction from Darfur. The government willstep in at the last minute and release the woman and the media will praise the level heads of the Sudanese government. The protestors are just taking a break from raping and murduring. |

You are a pathetic little man, so quick to baseless hatred of another belief system that you'd slander them in such a way. Atleast no one will ever ask me why I don't like Americans, as its reasons are as simple as Judge Fudge is delicious.

Muhammed would not react like the crowds and want her killed. Jesus would not react like the crowds and want her killed.
Religion today is a lost cause because people today have changed it and twisted all its original good principles to suit themselves in what ever destructive and evil way they want.

i haven't read all the replies to this post. but here is my two pennys worth from the POV of a brit. When you go to ANY foreign country (espiecally one with a muslim relgion) you should know the rules of the land and obey the rules of the land. If this teacher had any brains at all, she would have known that being white in a muslim world, calling ANYTHING by the name of the profit would not go down well, she was stupid and naive in the ulitmate sense! Personaly she has gotten off extremely lightly with just 15 days in prison then deportation, it could have been a LOT worse, but what is going to happen, she is going to appeal the sentance! I mean get with the program love...15 days in the clink ain't gonna kill you, especially now you have been moved to a decent one, in just over 2 weeks you will be out, and free to go home and put the whole mistake behind her...but now she will have to go through a re-trail and you can bet bottom dollar that they will drag that one out without any chance of bail....let this be a lesson learnt, you can't go around insulting over peoples religions (especially muslims) and get away with it! BTW this message is posted by someone who couldn't give a toss about religion in any form! So looking at this from a totally neutral POV.
She broke the rules, she got off lightly, do the time, don't complain and she may leave with her life....

That's kind of how I feel about it as well. Religion is not the cause of what's going on, it's just become an excuse for some people to try and justify their own twisted motives and convince others to do the same.

I'd just like to share, that in support of British schoolteachers everywhere, I named all the beers I drank last night "Muhammed". I did this because I enjoy the fact that I live in a nation where I can name things whatever I want.
For more enjoyment and greater efficiency, consumption is being standardized.

Britain doesn't give the Government of Sudan aid, it gives aid to those Sudanese citizens in Darfur suppressed by their own government for being neither Arabic nor Muslim. The hardliners in Khartoum would probably be happy to see the flow of that aid cut off as they continue their campaign of genocide.

I hereby name the two steaks of pork neck I'm about to eat, "Muhammed I" and "Muhammed II", respectively. A similar naming scheme will be adopted to what's left of the said steaks once they leave my digestion system.

Religion can positively effect a lot of people. But in the case of Islam, which involved from an instruction manual on what to do to people who won't convert to your BS, that's not the case.

Religion bothers me from the point of view if need to read a book that tells you how to treat other human beings instead of it being an obvious and natural instinct, then you're fundamentally evil. Hence religion is a good thing because otherwise these people who need guidance would be a nightmare to live with.
Some people are however are that evil that they subvert the religion and carry out acts and actually shift the blame to the book that they've misunderstood.

I don't think its as easy as your say. Living in today's world, then entering a world that still has a 7th Century mentality is a step I don't think anyone can get used to. These protests though, and the behavior of these people protesting are being allowed and encouraged by the government of Sudan. |
