At the moment, i am purely using it for my own entertainment. It's so much more convenient plugging in that small box into my pc, than having multiple Amps, pre-amps, effects, eq's, etc
However, once i manage to deal with the latency issue i am getting between the unit and my speakers (it's rather off putting when what you're playing is half a second behind) I'd love to record some stuff to improve my skill level. Ego Sum Mortem Incarnatum - I Am Death Incarnate |

San Francisco is screwed up this year too. Normally, it pours (or drizzles) rain from Nov to Feb, but they are apparently bone dry and warm so far..............with unheard of blue winter skies. Incidentally, the frigid conditions today are perfectly normal Minnesota weather this time of year. I just hate it is all lol This is true, Eevee, but with the mild winters we've had over the last couple of years, it's really making this cold stretch tough.
My vehicles just aren't liking it.

Yeah, latency can be annoying. I got little Alesis unit myself and never got over it, ASIO drivers or not...

DeMichael Crimson wrote:Well, after a week in the repair shop I finally got my piece of sh*t '93' Toyota 4Runner back today. Initially the head gasket was blown which was letting coolant enter the cylinders causing it to overheat. After ripping it apart, the shop said the head was cracked which needed to be replaced. On top of that they said it needed a new Cam Shaft, Valve Job, Timing Belt, Radiator, Thermostat, various Tune Up and Smog parts, etc. It cost $1715.00 when the original estimate was only $1200.00. Good news is it's running much better now. Now that the top end and front end is basically all new, I'm pretty sure after a while the bottom end will also need to be redone. Course that means everything will have to be removed again. I should have had them do up the Piston Rings and Crank Bearings while it was ripped apart. DMC I'm kind of in the same boat. Just before going on vacation, I hit a deer on the way to work. Wasn't a super bad hit but bad enough to crumple the hood on my van. I stopped at an auto body place and the initial estimate was $1200. However, the email I received later from them said they found a used hood, roughly the same color, that they could use. \o/!!
Since it's an older van, and Minnesota vehicles get rusted really badly, I had told them that I was just looking for the hood to open and close. The revised estimate came in at $490. \o/!!!!!
The reason I have to do this.....my battery is dieing. And I cannot open my hood to replace it
So, now I have to spend that to have my hood replaced JUST so I can replace my battery to keep starting this beast in the upcoming cold. Mother Nature must hate me.

Also I just found out they are trying to pass a law in Florida that makes it easier to get a concealed weapon permit.

Oh, btw, Florida is about to supplant New York as the 3rd most populous state (after Cali and Texas).
With all the empty foreclosed houses around here still, where are all these people moving in ?
Unfortunately when it happens, liberal NY loses 2 congressional seats....and Florida gains 2. God help us all.
