As far as GD threads go, the aggression survey thread is pretty good. He linked it into google docks, results all charted out. Grain of salt though, it is a GD thread 
Results may vary heh. A catastrophe would need to happen (e.g. Summer of rage) to get a better sampling of the various player-base of the game. But we have the GD opinion going there  |

I won't say what I use, but yes there are some really good free AV's. In fact maybe the best of them being free and with only little resource usage. Worth it.
